This track is the first piece I created after completing my study of Beethoven's Eroica Sketches (his third symphony) to complete my Ph.D. in music theory. 

For this piece, I sought to create a cinematic, electronic journey. I draw on the progressive house genre, but also pull ideas from classical music, which I’ve learned from studying Beethoven’s works.

I recorded this on my iphone.  It's of my favorite Misfits song on a 12 string guitar.  This is the first day I ever tried to learn this song so I am not that good at keeping with time with my guitar.  Whatever though.

This piece was written as an assignment for William Caplin's class Tonal Composition, where we were to write a theme and variations, based around the style of Beethoven, Haydn, and Mozart.
