As more of an electronic music producer and DJ the last 15 years, creating the song "Embers in the Air" felt like a return to my acoustic roots and having grown up in the 90’s, is me getting back in touch with my teenage self. It was written on a warm, starry summer night playing guitar on my front porch in Calabasas, California in 2022 when I was deeply and MADLY in love with a man who ultimately… broke my poor heart. Such is the world, and the dangerous territory of opening your heart (and choosing to ignore major red flags). But, as beauty somehow always arises from tragedy, like a phoenix from the ashes, after finally getting the strength (and courage) to release it - I would now like to dedicate this song to all of the hopeless, idiot romantics in the world like me, falling in love with devils and still remaining angels. Cello work by the phenomenal Aaron Sinclair and guitars, bass and vocals by yours truly!

An original folk song I wrote about the girls I've dated and broken up with in the past, inspired by the song "You're Beautiful", which I heard recently and thought to myself, 'If I had written that, I would have said "You're Delusional" instead'...so I went ahead and did just that haha!..and I gave it a fun bluegrass twist too!  Recorded using my Yamaha APX600 Acoustic/Electric Guitar, a Crafter Jumbo Acoustic Guitar (both pictured), an Ibanez S405 5 string Bass Guitar, a Lewitt LCT240 Pro Microphone, A Sennheiser e905 Microphone, a Headrush Gigboard, a Tambourine, Shaker, and Jaw harp (aka Jews Harp), and produced with Reaper Digital Audio Workstation.  I hope you enjoy it!
