Beautifull In Beaufort West

Ek is bevoorreg genoeg om te kan sê ons boer in die Groot Karoo. Hier waar die stiltes stiller is, die verste sterre naby is. Waar klein vreugdes volkome geluk word, waar die kleinste seerkry 'n oorheersende pyn kan veroorsaak. Ons is deel van als, maar tog ook deel van niks. Maklik om te ignoreer maar onmoontlik om te vergeet. Dis huis. En dis op 'n someraand in die middel van die Groot Karoo waar ek dan toe ook hierdie liedjie sit en skryf. Sin probeer maak, op papier, van alles in my "Kaalvoet-Karookind" hart  . Dis een van 6 self geskryfde liedjies vir my debuut album. Laat weet my asb. wat julle dink.  xx
