Hey friends,

I just moved on from 2 months in Bir - the village that flies, in Himachal Pradesh, India. 

I went there to think about what I want to do next, following the launch of my debut album “Moments of Clarity.”

But it turned out to be one of those magical dreamlands where you don’t think - you just do. 

On my third day there I jumped off a cliff, only to have my crippling fear of heights melt into the ecstasy of paragliding through the Himalayas. 

This fearlessness continued, and I soon found myself stepping behind the decks to guide a conscious & present crowd through ecstatic dance.

This set, Mast Pahadi, is inspired by that experience. In Hindi, Pahadi means mountain person. And mast means great. I had a vision of a genderless spirit - living in harmony with the mountains. 

When I shared the name with my friend Nirjhar - he reminded me that Mast is also someone stuck in a state of trance….of ecstasy.

So kick off your shoes, and turn up the volume - as I guide you through an audio journey which mirrors the peace I felt in Bir, the pulse beneath my feet, and a glimpse - into the ecstatic.

This is Mast Pahadi.

Another potential full track in the making. It's the 1st downtempo track which I've been trying to do for a while. 

I used finger picking as well for the 1st time. This method was inspired by watching Dante perform. I like the fact that I can mix between picking notes and chords, perfect for downtempo vibes.

Doch trotz Gigs auf der ganzen Welt und weit mehr als 100 Million Spotify Streams, zeigt sich das deutsche DJ Duo bodenständig. Beispielsweise wird ein Stromausfall unprätentiös mit grillen, chillen und Musik auf der Akustik Gitarre kompensiert und während der schwierigen Phase, wie wir sie gerade haben, wird sich über die viele Zeit zuhause, mit Familie und Freunden, gefreut.

Hard to believe how time passes by.
We pop the corks and celebrate our 100th podcast.

For this special day, nobody less than the guys from @tubeandberger left us an "Imprint of Pleasure".
Over fish sticks, noodles and spinach (Kids classic), the very sympathetic people from Solingen told us about their best experiences at their numerous festivals and concerts. They especially like to remember an evening in summer 2017.
On Ibiza, they had their most memorable performance so far, together with their colleagues Eric Prydz and H.O.S.H., in the temple of nightlife "Hi Ibiza".
But despite gigs all over the world and well over 100 million Spotify Streams, the German DJ duo stayed on the ground. For example, a power failure is unpretentiously compensated for with barbecues, chilling and music on the acoustic guitar, and during the difficult phase we're going through at the moment, they're happy about all the time at home, with family and friends.
