Underground Warehouse Party

DJ Casie Farrell grew up in the well known hip-hop city of Houston, Texas, where has been out and about in the club and nightlife scene since she was 16 years old.  The arts, both music and dance, have greatly impacted her life since the age of 3, when she started dance class and then continued to surround herself with both music and dance, as she attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, and later the University of Arizona for dance.  Casie has been making her rounds in a wide variety of venues and making herself known for her high-energy sets filled with funky house tracks and innovative looping.  She started her DJ'ing career at The DJ School Dallas, and since then, Casie has been mixing tech-house, house, top-40, progressive, deep house, and techno at a wide variety of venues in Texas including, but not limited to, the infamous #saltbae steakhouse, Nusr-et,  where she plays weekly, The Yard (Ft. Worth),  Funktion (Ft. Worth), Canvas Hotel, Green Elephant, The Underground, Sub Solo, and as well as Bauhaus (Houston).  She has also played on a weekly spot for international radio station, Essential Clubbers Radio. This 21st label release offers five wonderful and carefully-chosen selections of melodic electronic grooves, ranging from progressive house to techno to melodic techno, produced by a handful of the Windy City’s finest. In yet another year of unprecedented change and challenges, music has been the fabric keeping us united in the face of uncertainty, and this cherry-picked collection of truly top-tier quality songs is being sent out to you all around the world to help close out 2021 – from Chicago with lots of love (and also with a bit of pent-up rowdiness)! 

Rounding out this release is a sublime serving of progressive house titled “Clockwork” by Crystos – a promising newcomer to the label and the Chicago music scene alike. Fusing elements of progressive, melodic tech, and big synth melodies in this composition, he delivers a ticking timepiece-driven piece of music that truly finishes this compilation with an exclamation point. The Gear and Spring Mix makes the groove of the clockwork a focus and leaves a little room for something more involving this tune to come to you in 2022!
