BotoMaki - [Re]OPEN Alter - Summer Pt. 2 June 2021 - Mix Wednesday - DHM

While significantly smaller in population than the country on its southern border, Canada is home to countless DJs and producers who continue to greatly impact the dance music scene. From house and techno to bass and trance, plenty of artists are carving out an increasing amount of space for themselves and their labels - and one of those artists is Rhyot.

Based out of Toronto, Rhyot has continued to impress fans and tastemakers alike since first emerging on the scene with his unique blend of techno, electro house, and indie dance. Catching attention from deadmau5 in 2017 with his tune "Army of the Dead," he's gone on to drop some fantastic releases ranging from 2019's "Incurable" to 2020's In Ruin EP while simultaneously running his own imprint, Emercive Recordings.

This year has seen Rhyot continue his offering of tunes for the masses to consume such as his collaboration with Barbosa called "Unbound," "Aphelion" which landed on Heist Mode Vol. 1, and a remix of Bad Eye's "Aphotic" as well. Now, he's looked to flex his abilities as a storyteller behind the decks with this exclusive mix that is filled to the brim with dark, ominous tones that will turn down the bright summer sun during its hour-long runtime.
