It was late one night during the band's last tour of Sweden when they were at the rehearsal studio in Stockholm finishing up and running through their instrumental "Hungry Ghosts".

The next band into the studio, The Bawl Slant, arrived early and their vocalist Kristopher heard the track and offered to write some lyrics and lay down some vocals.

This track is a result of that collaboration.

This was meant to sound like a fight scene soundtrack with multiple moods. The first section is meant to be the action part, while the other two parts are laments, like the people involved are examining all they've lost. 

This is the first song where I used the phrygian dominant scale. This is also the first time I've experimented with dominant 7th chords. Hope you enjoy!
