Alex McKinnon is a singer songwriter bassist based in Sydney Australia. She became frustrated with the lack of musicians that didn’t get her  and form bands and jam so she decided to write and produce this album “Walk on my Back” herself. She played the Instruments, except the drum loops , wrote, composed and produced it her way. Alex is known for her aggressive style of bass slapping and singing simultaneously on stage. Alex is a self taught musician  and has formed bands that have played around the Sydney circuit such as Thunderpuss, The Ex President’s and Geronimo. This is an album that’s building and accumulating her new material with some older songs which has resulted in an alternative rock funk type sound. Alex also writes her own lyrics.
