Layering, or bedding, is the most obvious feature of sedimentary rocks. Sedimentary rocks are formed particle by particle and bed by bed, and the layers are piled one on top of the other.

Photos of nebulas as observed from Earth and coloured based on our perceptions, are impressive. For instance, The Helix Nebula is a layered and complex cloud of gas expelled and illuminated by the dying star at its center.

A sound produced by a synthesizer it's made up of different layers. These are the sound source (called oscillators), the LFO's (modulating the oscillators in a rhythmic pulse or sweep), and a final layer empowering the texture or the feel of the sound (called audio effects).

Alex Preda is a Romanian DJ and producer based in Amsterdam. His love for dance music began in the 1990s, with favorites like disco and dance- pop. In 2007, he moved to the Netherlands, where his sound evolved from the electronic sounds of Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis to his signature driving techno, always with an element of warmth and melody.

Preda has released music on renowned labels such as Days Like Nights, Atlant, Rukus, Oddity, Infinite Depth, and Bedrock.

He has gained strong support throughout the industry, including from Pete Tong, Sasha, John Digweed, Fur Coat, Eelke Kleijn, Beswerda, Matador, BOg & Adriatique.
