There can´t be a better mix! Our seventeenth release is signed by this house master, who has hard-earned the respect of the scene by his contribution to music during the last 20 years. Jacking house and tribal percussions are the choosen weapons by Syrossian and that´s exactly what you´ll find in “Time” and “Back In The Day”. And if this was little,  French producer DJ W!ld is responsible of a serious approach to “Time”, providing depth to the original track and creating this superb emotional anthem.

Title track ‘Rights’ features a driving beat, a whispering vocal and crescending drums leading into a seriously grooving bassline and distinctive echoing synth patterns.

‘Tool On’ takes the pace up a notch with an aggressive beat underpinning futuristic electronic melodies, while the final track - percussion-led ‘Foxton’ - features skipping hi-hats and a funk-laden bassline for a guaranteed dancefloor groover.

As Warriors celebrates its fifth season at Sankeys Ibiza, residents Mark Jenkyns and Leftwing & Kody mix a double album composed of entirely exclusive tracks.

Throughout the 2016 season residents Mark Jenkyns and Leftwing & Kody will be regular fixtures at the events, which is why VIVa have tapped them up to craft two mixes exemplary of Warriors’ distinct musical aesthetic.  Turning heads ever since his debut on Hot Creations four years ago, Mark Jenkyns has since followed up with appearances on Rinse, Dogmatik, Leftroom, Resonance and Crosstown Rebels, not to mention collaborating with Inxec as 12 Stories with a release on VIVa MUSiC last year.

Jenkyns’ mix initiates with a percussive production from Leftroom founder Matt Tolfrey before erupting into lively material from names such as Resonance Records founder Max Chapman, Kreature, Tom Budden and including his own cut which is our Debut Transmission today ‘Sidewinder’ and finishing on a crunchy track from Josh Butler.

Mihalis Safras and his Material imprint deliver a monster new release on the label this month courtesy of Get Physical and Tronic artist Noir. The collaboration follows the pair's recent co-production on Adam Beyer's Truesoul and it's equally impressive. Joining Noir on the release is Suara, Viva Music and Objektivity talent Dale Howard. The UK tech maestro, renowned for his own raucous blend of four-to-the-floor tech house is charged with looking after the remix of 'Fabulous' and he does so in signature style.

Premiere: Noir - Fabulous (Dale Howard Remix) [Material]

Nottingham’s Latmun arrives on Leftwing & Kody’s Lost Records with three energy fuelled house cuts, whilst Crosstown Rebel favourite Russ Yallop rounds out the EP on remix duties.

After an initial foray into production at the end of 2014, Latmun aka Joe Bradley’s sharp rise has garnered the attention and support of many including Lee Foss, Claptone, Darius Syrossian and Skream. The past year has seen the UK talent release on a host of distinguished labels such as VIVa (check out our premiere), El Row, Toolroom and Mar-T’s Wow! Recordings.

‘Cosmic’ kicks off the release with a selection of rumbling low end tones, stuttering vocal samples and reverberating sirens before our Debut Transmission today ‘Break it Down’ utilises engaging rhythm and evolving stabs to reveal a heady groove that’s packed full of swing. ‘Steez’ then utilises organic percussion and vocal whirrs to hold and maintain the attention of the floor, until Russ Yallop’s remix of ‘Cosmic’ reshapes the original, building on the crisp percussive elements and low-slung rhythms.

Latmun - Break It Down

Solid Grooves serve up a five-track sampler featuring label founders PAWSA and Michael Bibi alongside label favourites ONNO, Reelow and Dennis Cruz.

Launching in September last year, Solid Grooves Records has been on an upwards trajectory ever since. The London and Ibiza brand are now about to kick-start their weekly Ibiza event series every Thursday at Vista Club where their core artists will share the decks with special guests throughout the summer. In light of this the founders have curated five tracks from some of their core roster that’s illustrative of the Solid Grooves musical aesthetic.

First up, Dennis Cruz ‘Fever’ is a rumbling track boasting echoing percussion and a heady spoken word sample. Michael Bibi then drops a moody number teeming with syncopated rhythms and chopped vocals before ONNO unleashes a cavernous cut named ‘Body Shake’ that’s geared for the peaktime. Next, PAWSA ‘Luster’ is a bass fuelled roller that takes no prisoners until Reelow concludes the package with the intricate ‘Shaolin Slap’.
