After a strong Truesoul debut last September, Oscar L returns with a triple dose of groove. 

We got our first taste of Oscar L’s talents when he dropped the excellent ‘Konfusion’ EP in late summer 2018, a triple threat of ‘90s inspired house, punchy peak-time tech funk and the Spaniard’s skillful drum work highlighted throughout. As the weather starts to turn in our favour, it’s time to welcome him back to the clan for round two with his ‘Multiplayer’ EP.

The work kicks things off with ‘Monster Tube’, a deep roller that sees chunky percussion rub shoulders with dizzying arpeggiated melody lines. The EP’s title track follows, a cheeky vocal sample bringing verge and energy to the groovy bed of drums that sit beneath. ‘Primewire’ rounds out the triumvirate of tracks, working superbly as a functional and energetic DJ tool.

This release marks a new era for Noir Music. We are now fully transitioned into the new soundscapes that will shape the future of the label and what better way to celebrate the new beginning than with a brand new release series entitled “Resolute”. 

Resolute V1 contains 10 previously unreleased tracks by Wlderz, Nicolas Bougaïeff, Electric Rescue, Wisna, Industrialyzer, Juan Trujillo, Responder, Andres Campo, Ignacio Arfeli and Dominik Vaillant.

I admire all these producers and feel they bring something different and unique to this release and to Noir Music.  I want to thank all of the above artists for their contribution to this very first “Resolute” release. I truely love all the tracks included and I am honored that everyone wanted to help shape the future sound of Noir Music.

His productions gain support by various world known artists for some years, like: Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Ida Engberg, Marco Carola, Monika Kruse, Joris Voorn, GusGus and others. With the establishment of his own imprint Set About Music in 2016, a new home for his huge library of quality tracks was found. As well as being a highly respected producer he has already earned a reputation for being a formidable DJ having played all over the world and with some particularly notable sets.
