Philipp Priebe is an artist we have discovered not so long ago, but who has become one of our favorites very quickly. His own productions and his recent 'Apparent Calm Palms' album really hit the spot, and we are super excited that Philipp has delivered the very first live set on Far Blue. 

"This live set was recorded around Christmas 22 in my Berlin flat, after I finished the last bigger project of the year. I thought it would be a nice thing to have a set that suits an early festival evening, with an intimate and emotional atmosphere but still working on a house/dub techno floor, with Transfiguration hitting the set when the sun is setting down and you could already need a rest from all the dust and sweat around you. Afterwards the day unfolds into the night, as the set does as well. It ends with a new track, called Fever Dreams with a slightly theatrical note, wishing you well and waving goodbye until then."

Bio/
Born in Soweto, going by the name Sash Omnyama, a huge lover and consumer of house, through listening to a lot of mixtapes, I began having my specific preference of sound which then led me to start making my mixes in 2021 and share my own story through music. On my podcast mixtapes, I host two distinct sessions: "Soulful House Sunday Sessions," which feature deep soulful house, and "Late Night Drive Sessions", where I display my dub techno side, which speaks to my soul.

Avenue Red presents another tasty "live from the scene" session recording. Up next we have Jay Bliss (real name Iulian Cazan) from Bucharest, Romaina - IN Bucharest, Romaina. You can tell where it happened and when exactly from the title, ok?... Just read it in the title!... God!! 🙄 Have to explain everything sometimes!! Jeez.

Anyway... Iulian is the man behind prestigious imprints Vade Mecum and Stomping Grounds. He is also an incredible artist, trust us, but we are too tired to list all of it here and we can't face it because there is just so much! Please have a look for yourself and educate yourselves. In this wonderful, spacious, nicely-worked venue in Bucharest he has created a magical 4.5 hours world of music to explore a lot of different styles, genres and variants of electronic music goodness. Electric Cast 003: Håstad&HAL @ 20 YRS Electric Island (2025-03-14)

Scuol Palace, tucked away in the Eastern Mountains of Switzerland, hosted the 1st Multiplay Festival, a beautiful foray into the wilderness, curated with love and attention. I was honoured to be invited to close the outdoor stage on Saturday night. A big bag of vinyl and some choice digital personal cuts and unreleased material as well as numbers from my circle.. 
Open the bag, do not prepare, exist in the moment and enjoy the ride, it’s where moments meld and the joy happens, the unexpected. Energy levels were high, the recording is no frills and raw!

We first connected with Will early 2024 and we soon learned that his amazingly profound signature sound and the direction we want to aim our humble record label towards are heavily intertwined.
