About the EP :
Nico has been a good friend and Love Foundation family member since many years now. His track Kara Komunumo was on our first Vinyl release in 2019 and we are delighted to now release it also online together with 4 amazing remixes from our LF Resident Anton Feine, Goro from Amsterdam, Maloua Lou from LF Dresden and in this case Ome from Mexico. As always 50% of the sales from this release will be donated to Love Foundation.

Premiere | Niju - Kara Komunonuno (Ōme Remix) Hug Records

La Revolución was composed by Manu Ela, a multi-faceted Chilean artist based now in Berlin. Handling the brush as an illustrator as well as the needle as a tattooist, she also sings armed with her ukulele and her pan flute.

This title refers to the own revolution that everyone must do inside himself to reach different steps in life with the goal of finding its own freedom. The singers Macarena Paz and Iralí are joining Manu in this quest with their incantations.

Four remixes complete this first release of the year 2022 with four different readings and universe from Judith Ahrends (Germany), Inessa (Austria), Dvniel (Mexico), and Dan Bay & Le Rubrique (Germany).

This year we are celebrating the 15th anniversary of our label and on
this occasion we have prepared several releases under the name "15 Years of Exotic".

Chapter 2 of the series comes with another four fresh remixes of tracks that have been released in recent years on Exotic Refreshment and Exotic Refreshment LTD.

Sampler starts with a new mesmerizing Matija & Richard Elcox Remix of Manucho's "The Fire Whisperer", in which Matija and Rich used a fragment of the narrative from the movie 'Oshkigin Spirit of Fire'. In this place we would like to thank the people at Dovetail Partners and all those involved in the making of their fantastic film - video can be found here: youtu.be/8uBuxbdr5Qs .

Next we have something more melodic, a fresh remix of "Every End Is A New Beginning" by SevenJune & Ian Ludvig, provided by Greek producer VieL. The second part of the release opens AmuAmu with his fresh look at one of our favorite tracks of 2018: HAFT - Ountera. And last but not least, a crazy interpretation from Dandara of well received track "Jana" by Bahramji & Medusa Odyssey.

This is another track made in Kazakhstan. If you look north of Almaty you see the dusty and hot steppe where sparse life occurs. If you look south you see the 3000 meter high mountains covered in snow. 
Medeo is actually a speed skating rink in the mountain range next to Almaty, but also represents the area around as well. For me it's a symbol of the contradictions between soviet and kazakh culture - between all different ethnic groups that live there and used to live there. Big concrete monumental buildings vs. ancient nomad tents.

Maria and Luis who together form Ohxalá got into the Echoes circle last summer. With their deep and organic sound they value very much what Echoes from Venus stands for. We are very happy about this connection and are looking forward to much more collaborations.

The story of the Human and the Bird goes on. Their relationship intensified almost irresistible but the Human started to take more than he is supposed to. The birds got weak and they are afraid that their fate could be determined by the human kind. The equipoise of energy is heavily disturbed and with the last fortitude the birds unite and escape the fatal bond.
