Bio/
Medulla Oblongata is a discreet DJ who blossoms in his musical biotope
between ambient mental and hypnotic techno. His techno sets invite an immersive journey where dancers can forget
themselves. We could see him working lately with the Château Perché
Festival as an artist and AD and in renowned clubs of France such as
KALT (Strasbourg, Fr) or Ostra Club (Nancy, Fr) alongside Dasha Rush,
Vril, Terrence Fixmer, Adiel, Denise Rabe, Justine Perry and more.
He co-founded the collective TRÊVE with other weirdos, gathering
artists from different horizons around ambient and visual arts to propose dreamlike and contemplative events. His ambient sets
become hybridized with tape samples, droning machine loops, and
synthesizers.
He recently curated a charity V/A with artists from the ambient,
downtempo and techno scene, with all proceeds going to help
Palestinian civilian victims (freepalestineva.bandcamp.com). Finally
his first EPs were released recently, the first one (ambient EP) on
Khoros' sublabel Chronos is on February 17, and the second (Techno EP) is on Sephora Recordings.

Greetings, dear listeners! This month, Leena dazzles in our Altrove episode, taking unconventional sound trials and blending captivating grooves. Join us on a thrilling journey through diverse directions, embodying our passion for musical adventures. 

Resident DJ and core member of the Fonografia collective, Leena is a ravenous musical researcher.
Her selection ranges across multiple genres, she is able to catapult into vivid soundscapes, propelling listeners into vibrant soundscapes that transcend into palpable cinematic dimensions. 

~In this vinyl selection I aimed to collect the records with the power to project the mind ΔLTROVΞ (elsewhere), envisioning the vinyl as a steering wheel; a spaceship's steering wheel guiding the audience on a voyage to the edge of a universe of space jungles.

As a DJ and producer with nearly five years of experience, she has had the privilege of sharing the stage with esteemed artists such as Marcel Dettmann, Justine Perry, Ben Klock, and François X. Her performances have graced renowned festivals and clubs not only in France but also beyond its borders, including iconic festivals like ADE in Amsterdam and I Love Techno in Montpellier, Les Plages Electroniques (Cannes), Kwartz Club (Nice), Le Spot Club (Rouen) to name a few.

In the heart of a bustling city, amidst towering skyscrapers and neon lights, stood a small record store known as "Acetate Dreams." Within its walls, the air hummed with the soft crackle of vinyl and the soulful melodies of yesteryears. For those who entered, it wasn't just about the music but its promise. Each note spun tales of a better world, free from the shackles of oppression, greed, and capitalism. People gathered, drawn by the enchanting tunes, their hearts stirred with hope for a brighter tomorrow. In that little haven, they found solace, unity, and the courage to dream of a future where the rhythm of vinyl held the key to true liberation.

Bio/
For over 20 years, he has participated in the club scene in Łódź and has decided to vent his passion. Raised on Old School, Jungle, D'n'B, tapes recorded from the radio and VHS tapes from electronic music TV programs from Viva, Viva Zwei, and MTV. Then he fell in love with electronics like Autechre, Aphex Twin, Vladislav Delay, The Black Dog, Monolake, Plastikman, and Jeff Mills. Currently, he draws inspiration from sets of artists like Donato Dozzy, Neel, Dasha Rush, Takaaki Itoh, Marco Shuttle, Mary Yuzovskaya, Shifted, and Abdulla Rashim. He loves techno in the style of hypnotic, deep, broken beats, offbeat, abstract, and ambient. He tries to include his love for rhythm and percussion in his sets, but he does not follow trends and draws from various trends and eras of electronic music. Currently, they want to improve their skills playing from vinyl.

Dj back in 2006, infuenced mainly by the early 90's sound of Venice and
Berlin as well by the first pioneers of electronic music.
In his Dj sets, Manuel makes a precise and initmate techno flow that
seduces the dancefloor mixing new and old vinyls range from deep,
intricate techno, through and acid and groovy darkness with some

Anomali is a producer and DJ from Gothenburg, focusing on deep and hypnotic techno.

After finding out how to make music with computers back in 1994, the path was clear. The electronic music revolution of the ‘90s provided endless inspiration, and soon he found a passion for house, techno, psytrance and drum & bass. Making his DJ debut in 2002 helped him discover the creative feedback loop that both performing and producing music can lead to. Following decades of honing his craft, throwing raves and DJing, in 2020 it was finally time to get serious. Deep and hypnotic techno felt just like home, combining influences from all of the incredible music he grew up with in the ‘90s with a modern approach to sound design.

With several remixes under his belt, and his debut EP released on Fur:ther Sessions, Anomali is off to a flying start. His mixes have been featured in platforms like Monument, KVLTÖ Records, Revelation of Sound, Indefinite Pitch, Charybdis and Cellar Door.

Noah Lyas, also known as Malii Yorks, is an Amsterdam based artist who is passionate about making refined ceramic products and composing deep atmospheric rhythms.
Malii grew up in a house where music was always on in the living room because of two passionate parents who shared a large record collection with their children. With a father as a musician, early contact with different instruments was made as well as performing arts.

Later in life, around the age of twenty, after many dances in night clubs with friends, Malii started to make his own music focussing on soft percussive rhythms and lush atmospheres, finding inspiration in different kinds of music and sometimes movies.

The first two releases, “Before the Horizon” and “Obsidian”, were the starting point of Noah Lyas, his pseudonym, and the beginning of his record label called “Profundo Collective”.
