Premiering on BBC Radio, 'OPAQUE' is the title track to Alex McCarthy's debut full length album. 

'OPAQUE' lends its meaning to changing people's outlook towards environmental change and global warning. A change needs to be made and the first step is universally acknowledging that there is a problem.

Alex McCarthy is a twenty year old musician from Leicester, UK. His music blends elements of Jazz, Metal, Rap and Popular Music. Writing music for three years, Alex has been influenced by artists including 'Twenty One Pilots', 'Loathe' and 'Sleep Token', allowing him to craft his unique, well-rounded sound.

He has been featured on BBC Radio, interviewed on HFM Radio, had an article printed in his area’s newspaper, and has had his newest song 'OPAQUE' played on 7 radio stations. 

Alex studies Music Technology at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
