O significado da música para Thito Fabres é o significado de sua própria vida, o seu estilo de vida. A maneira mais fácil de descrever sua arte é dizer que ele nasceu para inspirar as pessoas através de sua jornada pessoal pela música. 

Seu trabalho está associado a vanguarda da musica eletrônica: ouvir Thito Fabres é ouvir algo novo. Sua coragem incomparável e desejo inquebrável de romper fronteiras o diferencia de qualquer outro DJ. Seu som, com base no techno, é espacial, futurista e hitech, transitando entre o melódico e o obscuro. Com o passar dos anos seu som se tornou mais profundo e espiritual. 

Natural de Vitória/ES, conheceu a música eletrônica ainda na infância por a influência do movimento New Wave/Synth Pop da década de 80. Em meados dos anos 90 a febre do techno já estava em pleno andamento quando começou a frequentar festas e colecionar discos. Finalmente atreveu-se a pisar em uma cabine em 2008, no auge da cena eletrônica capixaba.

Porém, quando a cena morreu e o único clube underground da cidade fechou as portas no início de 2010, Thito Fabres acabou sendo atraído para Belo Horizonte em busca de seu desenvolvimento como um artista. Durante esse tempo, suas habilidades como DJ e organizador de eventos melhoraram significativamente, apresentando-se em grandes clubes e festivais como Deputamadre, Roxy, Flowers, E-Nigma, Playground, Sunset Festival e Fresh. 

Após 4 anos vivendo intensamente a cena mineira, retornou a sua cidade natal com o objetivo de refundar a cena local. Em 2014 criou a Prisma, que já com 2 anos de vida é o principal núcleo underground capixaba, revelando artistas locais e trazendo grandes nomes nacionais como Anderson Noise, Mau Mau, Renato Cohen, Maurício Lopes, Eli Iwasa, Paula Chalup entre outros. Thito Fabres definitivamente conectou Vitória a cena techno nacional, um exemplo de atitude e visão.

É com imenso prazer que lançamos o sétimo de uma série de podcasts que visa celebrar os mais distintos aspectos do techno.

Kode Podcast 007: Thito Fabres

Alex Sharp finally sees the light of day with the heavily packed Varna Andha EP, featuring his original record and a collection of pumping remixes by Boy with Boat, Jydn, Purple Pill and Shane Belles.

The title track is everything you can expect from his deep, dark and progressive sound - a rolling, throbbing bass-line tied with weaved synth work and haunting, love ballad like vocal.

Boy with Boat then takes full flight and picks up the pace a little with his remix, introducing all new layers of progression, flavour and vibe.

After a short hiatus we have Jydn back in full force to shake things up with his very special rendition that blurs the lines between genres by fusing progressive, melodic and breaks elements to create a truly unique sound and direction.

Hailing from Tel Aviv with our third remix is Purple Pill featuring a stripped back version, a funkier melodic baseline and deep breakdown.

Last but not least is Shane Belles, a young and upcoming emerging name of the scene in Amsterdam, who puts his chuggy progressive touch on the original.

For the twenty-seventh reference of LR Recordings, we welcome another of the young promises of the Argentine Techno scene, Andhi Rivas. Andhi from a young age gets involved in electronic music influenced by the sounds of different synthesizers, marked by styles such as Synth Pop, House, Techno, with influences from artists such as John Digweed, Nick Muir, Sander Kleinenberg, Hernan Cattaneo, etc. She has dedicated herself to finding the best concepts in the musical selection, evolving in the search for the perfect groove, experimenting with variants and subgenres within House and Techno,
with progressive sounds. She has shared a booth with Argentine and
international artists such as Brian Gros, Mike Griego, Kenny Glasgow (ex Art Department), Rich Curtis or Lluis Ribalta… and in clubs like Bahrein, EsVedra, etc. He is also known as an event promoter at Tech and Groove, Tunel and Léxury. On this occasion he presents 3 tracks with an atmospheric, progressive Techno sound, with absorbing melodies but at the same time very powerful and danceable. They are accompanied by a spectacular remix by one of the most recognized Argentine artists Mariano Santos, who has performed all over the
world, with several of his own labels, his own radio program “Mariano Santos Global Radio Show ”and producer of important events such as the EMF Expo Music Festival. 

Without a doubt, a launch that will not leave you indifferent.

For our 30th volume of the BLVSH series, let’s welcome Redfreya (@redfreya) from London!

Redfreya started out her DJ career a few years ago with the London based Sisu Crew (@sisu_crew - a female empowerment techno collective) and now holds a monthly residency on Bloop London Radio, curating deep, melodic and emotive soundscapes. 

Her usual sound profile links deep house, melodic tech, ambient, groovy minimal and dub techno to create an emotive storytelling arch through her sets. 

However, for her BLVSH mix she says: "I decided to switch things up in this mix, and get into a very Berlin mindset, imagining a panorama bar vibe with my track selection, and creating something that is much more intense than what I usually play - I'd describe this mix as smooth, deep and hypnotic. I think diversity is essential for any DJ, to be adaptable to different crowds, atmospheres and hours of the day - but I hope you will also hear the melodic and emotional elements of my signature style in this mix.”
