Splittah is a Mulubinba-based DJ who's been steadily growing his presence in the scene over the past eight years, moving through a variety of sounds before finding his groove in drum and bass. His sets are a high-energy blend of deep rollers, dancefloor heaters, and heavy-hitting rhythms - crafted with intention and a feel for the crowd.

From intimate dancefloors to larger venues, he's had the chance to play at spots like Ivy and Home the Venue in Eora, Argyle House and The Lass in Mulubinba, and The Oxford in Bathurst. Along the way, he's jumped on lineups with crews like Bassaus, Steppers, Heaps Of, Courtyard, House Of Traxx, Uno-Palooza, and Rhythm at Dusk.

He's grateful to shared stages with artists like ShockOne, Calcium, Solomon France, and Slumberjack, and for the opportunity to play a dream set at Fiji's Your Paradise Festival. Whether it's a late-night club set or a festival slot, Splittah focuses on tight selections, solid energy, and letting the music speak for itself.

Conducting Munky business since 1999, straight out of Bristol, UK - DJ,
producer, MC and label boss Chris Munky draws his music selections from a
vast collection of both vinyl & digital archives. DJ sets can journey through
a blend of original sounds, classics and dubplate specials; spanning jungle,
drum & bass, breakbeats, garage, hip hop, funk and anything dubwise. As an
MC, Chris brings some vital vocal energy to DJ sets, where he specialises in
connecting with the crowd and maximising the good times at every event. His
‘host & toast’ style allows the music to breathe while his lyrics weave in and out
of the mix, complimenting his DJ.
Chris Munky has toured hard over the last decade and has performed in 32
countries worldwide. From Mumbai to Vancouver, Northern Bass to Glastonbury
and beach festivals to aircraft hangars; providing the finest selection in bass
weighty gems from the past, present and future.

He has also collaborated both live and in the studio with with the likes of Eva
Lazarus, LTJ Bukem, Royalston, Serial Killaz, Aphrodite, Chali 2na, Baby Bam
(Jungle Brothers), INJA, Gardna, Parly B, Dub Fx & P.Smurf; amongst other
incredible producers and vocalists.

Vancouver duo Daega Sound System caught our attention with an amazing remix of a release by TKR on Blipswitch Digital, hitting all the right buttons musically. At The CONDUIT we’re definitely champions of dubstep, but as in all genres, we’re only interested in tracks that manage to do something and much of the dubstep we are subjected to on a local level fails to even manage reaching the table for discussion it’s that bad. It was important for us and our listeners to champion the genre by bringing an act with some guts and talent and were excited when these guys readily accepted.
