Future Garage Outfit

tonro is an emerging artist with a distinct, melancholic UK garage aesthetic shaped by trip-hop and future garage. His sound feels like a noir drift through textures, tape noise, deep sensitivity, and reflection.
As a producer, tonro has written music for onosamo (Masha Koss) and Frank’s Evidence, and as a sound designer he received an award at an international screendance festival. He also created a 70-minute sound score built from metro recordings for a performance at the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre in Saint Petersburg.
As a DJ, he has been a resident at DramaTechno (Perm) and OMYT (Saint Petersburg), and performed a live set at the welofi showcase.
One of tonro’s signature approaches is writing entirely in Session View: recording clips live, often without edits, then jamming and assembling the final structure in real time — keeping the rawness and emotional immediacy intact.
