More Than Fine

"After All the Stars Have Gone" is a quiet yet intensely profound urban ballad that explores eternal yearning against a backdrop of nocturnal solitude.

The track creates an immediate atmosphere of isolation with a soft Rhodes piano and the sound of wind and crickets, setting the scene on a solitary rooftop. The low baritone vocal begins as an intimate whisper, observing the stars slowly fading—a metaphor for memory and loss.

The piece builds to a powerful, paradoxical realization in the chorus: that only when the night achieves total, absolute darkness (signified by the entrance of the 808s and drums) does the lost person's name begin to shine brightest. The song is a beautiful surrender to the darkness, concluding that the narrator's eyes must remain open forever, kept awake by a love too immense to forget.

I really wanted to make something for Fall and came up with this! Took a step back from my usual heavy bass to make something more peaceful, and experimented with ambient sound design, melody writing, and atmosphere. I've been working on this throughout this month... and give or take FL Studio says I have 30 hours on it... hope you enjoy, and thanks for listening!

Fleeting

Recorded at Rainbow Camp 2019 in Gifu, Japan. The Rainbow Disco Stage opened, and I was the opening act. It was an indoor hall-like space with amazing acoustics.
Since the next DJ was techno, my set turned out like this. Many artists played straight through until morning.
