Kasra V’s main sonic focus is creating a fusion where the eastern and western sounds meet. The Iranian has established himself with an NTS Radio show (that is more than 100 episodes deep) and a DJ sound that mixes the likes of old school UK rave with Belgian techno, acid house, trance and eastern grooves that bring spellbinding experiences. At his last EP Akasa he collaborated with Dopplereffekt and currently he’s working on a compilation of Iranian avant-garde music. Keep an eye on that.
