I love good music.  I try to make good music. Love sharing it on here and meeting other talented artists.  I have an eclectic style, I love all genres and like to collaborate with all walks of life:).  My first EVER album was released on October 15, 2013.  I poured my heart and soul into it.  Each song has been written and produced by yours truly (w/ the exception of a few of the drum tracks donated by some of my SC friends and a rap features by my good friends Ben Z, Dash the Baptist, TheNamesMillen). I wanted to produce/mix it myself because I wanted my first album to be a true reflection of me and my current level of skill/ability in all areas (even if it shows my weaknesses).  To me, authenticity is key and so is challenging oneself.  I think you'll find something in there to connect to...at least that is my hope.  Thank you to everyone who has inspired/encouraged me on here, without you, I would have never grown to find my own voice and to go through the work of putting this album together. Guidebooks live up to their name with adventurous use of found-sound and field recordings within songs that also feature more traditional band instrumentation.  A featured Soundcloud Fellowship in 2013 showed just how much fun the band could have collecting sounds and writing in collaboration with this huge international community.  Citing influences as diverse as Sufjan Stevens and Mount Kimbie, the current live shows promise to provide an experimental, but also playful, approach to song-writing and  performance.
