Never Stop Dancing is a mix series focused on amplifying house, disco, and techno. Through the mix series I aim to highlight the creative  expressions of the talented up and coming as well as established DJs and producers in the Kootenays and the surrounding areas of BC. The mix series is dedicated to the four to the floor lovers who may often find themselves the first or last two-steppin' on the dance floor. To those who find that movement is an essential expression of life, love, and joy. To those who find that connecting with others through movement is a process of liberation and a building block of our community. To those who get moved by the music, a language that we speak that emanates from the depths in our hearts and souls. Sunny Acres is musician, producer and Dj, Chris Francis. From an eclectic mix of wonderfully crafted original rhythms, basslines and melodies to great tracks from around the world, Sunny Acres weaves a sonic fabric of acoustic and electronic music. He is a local Kootenay producer and DJ, all-around stand-up guy, most humble DJ, and my brother from another mother. I don't remember when I first met Chris, but I know his distinctive style of deep and chugging house is what drew me to him. Since knowing him, I've had the pleasure of having him play at my events and we've danced many nights away. Keep your eyes on his Soundcloud as he'll be releasing his first LP this spring. This mix is a colourful tapestry of tasteful selections thoughtfully weaved together. I appreciate the deep basslines and heartfelt vocals that pull me into the story he tells. I love his mixing style that blends layers of each song so seamlessly that one cannot tell where one begins and where the next one starts. I hope you enjoy this mix and it gets you swaying, tapping your toes, 2-stepping, bopping, bouncing, and feeling all the feels.
