A summer rain can be associated with cleansing – just as it washes dust off the streets, it may symbolize moments of renewal and emotional release in life. It can also evoke unexpected changes that, although initially seen as obstacles, bring freshness and new perspective. Finally, its gentleness and fleeting nature may remind us of the beauty of moments worth cherishing before they pass.

Patrice5 (@patrice55) and I present track 5 in our collaborative album in progress, "Altitude". Patrice5 composed, mixed and recorded his part on 12 October 2025 in MAGIX, and I composed, mixed and recorded my part, improvising on Akai MPK mini keyboard connected to Logic Pro, on that same evening of 12 October 2025 and combined and recorded a first longer version of the collaborative track. Then on 14 October Patrice  arranged and recorded a shorter version, which we release here on SoundCloud in this late Thursday evening (in Europe) of 16 October 2025.

The artwork cover for our album "Altitude" (2025) and all tracks in it uses a photo shot by Alex M on 26 September 2025 cropped and annotated by Alex M in Mac OS Preview on 29 September 2025 - in coordination and agreement with Patrice5.

I have always admired music, of diverse styles. Like most of us, I have tried learning to play a few instruments at a basic level in my teenage. But it is only now, in the 21st century, that modern software allows anyone to fool around being the composer, the designer of a whole composition, simpler or more complex, organising together the parts of the various instruments - and to hear the results of this experimentation or inspiration instantly! That is how I have recently begun enjoying the distraction of attempts at composing during my leisure, discovering an amazing dimension of life, and art, perhaps the most intangible, heightening and hypnotising one, and the closest to the soul... (21 August 2017) ... Forgot to mention: music is for sharing - that's why we are all here! (4 September 2017)
