 techno and dark techno fusion unfolds with syncopated, hypnotic basslines and clinical, sharp percussion. Lush synths and airy pads glide above evolving, looping arpeggios. Intense peaks use white noise bursts, delayed hats, stuttered claps, and funk-inspired rhythms. Each climax dissipates into wide, atmospheric breakdowns with swirling synth FX. A new week means a new selection of melody driven progressive music and boy we are happy to bring this superb collaboration from 2 future stars on the scene as we see the return of Lumidelic, this time working together with Emiliano Secchi as they deliver “Immerse” for you this week. With a great touch, both of them, how to build dreamy melodic progressive music, they once more prove their skills with this beauty. For those of you, familiar with the guys, know that they are all about chord progressions and smooth melody driven textures and here they bring on the full plethora as always. 

To spice the release even further, we brought opn 2 familiar names to the label as we start of in canada, with long time PHW veteran Andrew Lang joining back on the label. Being a force almost from the start on our label, we are of course always thrilled to see him back. As always he delivers in full flare with brilliant touch. With an energy boost here built, we see him keeping a lot of the melodies, he share his true emotion of building pounding trance elements to his progressive productions. We couldn’t have asked for more (how many times is that said about this man), as he bring his A-game back again. 

We are also delighted to see another return on the label from Argentinas Juan Portel, more known to us all through Musty moniker. Fluid melodic arrangements with his well selected own ideas is to bring on his full artillery of sparkling melodies and harmonies. It’s a full on beach walk produced by him, as we are taken to sun drenched beaches and sunny skies. 

Super stuff guys, and we are delighted to bring this one on to the progressive community!

Aeron Aether, celebrated veteran composer and longstanding mastering engineer for our imprint, has released dozens of beloved singles and remixes in his illustrious career, including collaborations with the likes of Matt Darey and Mango. Ten years in the making, his debut album, "Landscapes & Dimensions," finds the Hungarian virtuoso in peak form. A champion of various shades of house and trance, as well as a pioneer of the melodic progressive breaks genre, Aeron continues to test the boundaries of sound design, all the while showcasing his unique brand of forward-thinking, cinematic, and emotive electronic music.

Aeron's eclectic, yet consistently beautiful (if not ethereal) debut album comprises over a dozen extraordinary tracks, including four standout vocal numbers with Simon Latham, Sean Darin, Sebastian, and Krister Linder. Other album collaborators include Bobalino, Retroid, and fellow resident sensation Terry Da Libra, who lends production support to the album's breathtaking first single, "Hope Unchained." The album intro and outro cuts, the mystical and gorgeous "Florescence" and "Syntharsia," prove to be veritable scores to untitled films, and outside-the-box, acoustic-meets-electronic numbers like "Summaer On" and "Baranya" explore Aeron's interest in more primitive, world-music influenced instrumentation. Of course, Aeron's passion for breaks remains stronger than ever, and, on that front, he proudly showcases a few of this finest examples of the genre, including the album's second single, "Falling," and the most obvious homage, "Mind Driver." Silk Royal proudly welcomes Swiss act Dinka to its ranks with a re-release of the anthemic "Lotus", a track that has already witnessed radio support from Above & Beyond, Paul van Dyk, Matt Darey, Marcus Schossow, Blake Jarrell, and more. With an unparalleled ability to combine lush melodies, world music samples, and club-killing beats in each and every one of her productions, Dinka has quickly become one of the most sought after producers and DJ's in progressive. This package also features two brand remixes by a pair of fellow progressive heavyweights: Soundprank and Johan Vilborg.

The Original Mix captures the essence of the Dinka sound, which has captivated global progressive audiences for years now. Moody pads, "old-world" instrumental effects (such as an exotic flute), and a light, "teaser" rhythm give the track a suspenseful and evocative introduction. The beat and furious, peak-hour bassline soon arrive, as well as the first of many poignant world music vocal samples; by the quarter turn of the track, we have been transported into a primitive world, reinforced by the many tribal chants and vox effects that punctuate the build of the tune. In the main break, all of these elements are enhanced, and a stadium-filling drum roll and chord-based lead synth progression elicit a hands-in-the-air moment from the listener. The drop to follow is equally awe-inspiring and dancefloor-killing.

Canadian sensation Soundprank, who is recently responsible for a variety of sensational EP's on Anjunadeep, as well as a standout remix of Chicane & Ferry Corsten's "One Thousand Suns", returns to Silk for the first time since his beloved original "Burner" and remix of "Yesterday's Tears." Since we last had the privilege of working with him, Soundprank has perfected the techincal quality and further pushed the boundaries of sound design in his productions. His interpretation here is a pull-no-punches, peak-hour bomb, as it immediately jets out of the gate with a powerful rhythm and inspired new bassline. A quintessentially meaty chord progression fills out the mid-range of the tune, while a variety of arps and atmospheric touches, as per usual, tickle the ear in a way that keeps the track sounding fresh with each new bar. In the break, a delicate, organ-based lead melody is fully solo'ed, followed by a more "epic", buzzy synth rendition of the same melody. A gut-busting drop follows - truly one of the highlights of this exhilarating rendering.

Finally, rising Swedish talent Johan Vilborg, a breakthrough artist on Silk Royal this past year with several top-charting and internationally supported singles and remixes (including "Altara" and "Warmer Days"), offers an uplifting, end-of-summer take. Vilborg's remix features a stunning vocal stab progression, a true artist signature, as well as a a completely re-imagined lead chord progression that is nothing short of euphoric. Fans have drawn similarities between Vilborg and Arty, with their penchant for jubiliant, layered leads, and the inspired melodies on this one prove that Vilborg has earned the flattering comparison. Later on in the tune, the rhythm is given a bit of extra "hop", seemingly inviting the listener to jump along with the dynamic lead.

We are on the brick to welcome Lokovski & David Folkebrant to our PHW division as these guys deliver “No Pressure” on the label this week. With a vibrant and uplifting feel, “No Pressure” is to hit you with that summer-ish vibe that we so often seek for. We feel truly happy to see the guys join us on the label. 

To flavour a bit more and give the release a different approach and more to select from, we also see two different remixes being in this package. First of is the return of Leicester bound UK producer, Ashraf Soobiah that works his music through his well known alias of Zuubi. He’s been a major player with us over the years and we are always thrilled and excited to see him take time to join back with the PHW imprint. 

With his creativity and own style of progressive, he surely is to strike again with this rework of the original ideas. It’s a slightly more laid back feel to the track here and it’s with delight that we put this one on to give us the summer feelings. It’s another superb production from this rare talent that we take with on the release with open arms of course. 

We also see a new face taking his first steps on the label as US bound producer Lensa makes his debut through our PHW division. It’s a true joy listening to this one, giving us a real breath of fresh air as this is a number that definitely etches to us. With a warm mood, tight melodic lines and everything in between, he surely strikes with full power and we are truly delighted to sim taking a spot on our roster!
