modemixer - King Of Lizards

A piano piece I wrote for my sister for Christmas 2012. As part of my NAMM demo for Acoustica, I added some strings backing as well. The strings don't always fit as well as I'd like, but this piece was conceived solely as a solo piano work so it probably works best as such. In the original piano version, the thunder effect is created by rumbling the lowest strings on the piano.

A very rare "Afro-American Cane Hop" written by William Christopher O'Hare, published in 1898. I made this recording so my students can hear how it goes.

My original version of this song was included as a demo for Mixcraft 5 in 2010. This is a new remaster of the track with a few tweaks and overall better sound. Revision B1 improves the synth bass starting at 2:30.
