Sal Saqeb has been championing the progressive house sound as far back as 2001, beating 3000 contestants back when Virtual DJ was Atomix and launched a Global DJ competition in search of a new rising star. The following year landing runner up in the Juice Quest for Malaysia’s Best DJ in 2002.

Born in London UK, having resided in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), the U.S., Singapore and Dubai, Sal has carefully crafted his unique sound of gritty beats, groovy baselines and seamless hypnotic mixing which crafts a story in each exciting set. 

His rich blend of musical tastes include heavy metal, jazz, funk, soul, hip hop and rock, and bootlegs of E.B.T.G – Missing & Sasha’s Xpander add to the ever-evolving sound of his preferred progressive selection.

Heavily influenced by the likes of Deep Dish, Sasha, John Digweed, Luke Chable and more recent Guy J, Matter, GMJ and the always consistent duo of Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo. Sal has landed residencies at Time in Manila, iconic S.E Asian night club, along with Delawi in K.L Bangsar, Club Seven and Club Minc in Dallas.
