Here comes the first out of four sets I played at Burning Man this year. Over the past decade Burning Man and its culture and community has paved the way to who I am today. Life is a gift we should cherish everyday - be it in the way we treat ourselves or in every single encounter with the people around us.
I played this set on the art car "Charlie the Unicorn" (which is in fact the first art car that stuck to my mind back in 2014 when I went to Burning Man for the first time) on Thursday night on the playa. I chose a more ravey approach for this set - full of bangers that capture the atmosphere of the a night full of life and shenanigans. The set is a tribute to all those crazy lights, the dancing and smiling people and the pitch black sky filled with stars and laser beams - full of straight-forward dance floor energy and a pinch on disco-infused tunes

In the early 2000s Alex fell in love with the power and the spirit of house and disco. A love that has not changed ever since. Paired with a decent rave attitude, Alex aims to create a dance floor where every dancer feels at home. 
A sound best describes as Power Disco: a multifaceted crossover blending all shades of House and Disco – from A like Acid House to Hi-NRG (lots of it) or Italo, all the way to Z as in Zouk – coupled with a good dose of Rave Classics.  It's vibrant and unconventional. A bold musical statement with an absolute focus on the dance floor. Music selected and crafted for all the dancers among us. The kind of music that sparks those "Hand-Up" moments, leaving us speechless, eyes closed, a wide grin on our faces, and a bold "What the f***?" echoing in our minds as we seamlessly merge with the dance floor.
