Didley Duo is a Diddley Bow and Percussion band from Brazil. Formed by Breno Teixeira and João Kolachinski on the road since 2016, the Brazilian Duo has been arousing great interest about their unusual music and instruments. 

The band brings to you the good old Blues sound with original songs played in self-made instruments called Diddley Bows.  
“The Diddley Bow is a single-stringed American instrument which influenced the development of the Blues sound. It consists of a single string of baling wire tensioned between two nails on a board over a glass bottle, which is used both as a bridge and as a means to magnify the instrument's sound.
It was traditionally considered a starter or children's instrument in the Deep South, especially in the African American community, and is rarely heard outside the rural South, but it may have been influenced to some degree by West African instruments.”

So, just imagine if the Diddley Bow didn’t stop in time and continue to evolve through the years until now, than mix these rural Blues and Country sounds with Rock N' Roll. That’s Didley Duo. 
A new drapery for the old original Roots Blues sound. They created a unique identity, as well as the balance of their sound that is at once smooth, danceable, and engaging.

A banda conta com o Alexandre Buhler (guitarra/vocal) e com outros artistas convidados importantes do cenario Curitibano,

Com gravações no estudio Caveira furada no ano de 2016, e no Play31 em 2017 gravou o seu primeiro Álbum, O Gari Ateu.

Em 2018, Junto do Músico Michael, da banda Reis e Ursas, gravou o seu segundo Álbum, chamado Ópvio, com uma pegada de Metal, Rock,

Em 2019, fez um álbum Split, gravando em Parceria do Beer, das bandas Repossiveis, Renegados do Folk, Pineia entre outras bandas, o nome do Álbum é Sem Tideiz (110), com uma pegada Folk, experimental e outros estilos.

Durante o Ano de 2019, A buhler, fez várias gravações de forma independente as quais irá lançar em janeiro de 2020, com o álbum com o nome de "Surto" ou "Pão Frânces sobre aquarela em tela"

A Essência da Buhler é fazer músicas loucas, e chamar vários musicos para gravar.
