Celtic music is a paradox; in a minor key such as this piece, it tends to be melancholy, yet in its melancholia it can lift the spirit to heavenly realms where noble and reflective thoughts reside. No Tears Left

This is one of Frederic Chopin's most beautiful Etudes. It was written as an Etude which from the native French translates to "exercise" or "study." But it's more than just a study in lyricism or technique. It's also a piece that is worthy of being performed by the greatest of pianists in the most grand of concert halls. The lyrical first section teaches the pianist to shape phrases and to play with an elegant touch and rubato and the middle section teaches many lessons in playing with proper technique, being able to scale large jumps with accuracy and still try to be musical. This is a piece that is very work intensive and requires a lot of practice but it's stunning beautiful and lyricism make every moment of effort worth it.
