Almost exactly three years after NR&, a project uniting &ME’s and Rampa’s production with the voice of New York Disco-House-siren Nomi, dropped their debut EP, we finally can announce a new chapter in this ongoing transatlantic menage. This very “Spoken For” EP is comprised of two new tracks, that again fuse songwriting with floor-demands and showcase the same crackling and pulse quickening passion that instantly has become NR&’s trademark. So here’s the evidence – a long distance relationship is not necessarily doomed to get boring after a while.

“Taste Like” on A might be conceived as the club-affair of those two new joints. A tune indulging in self-control, extending the pre- eruptive moment of excitement to track length. There is Nomi’s unmistakeable sexed up oration, flanked by an affirmative thunderstorm of claps, then a bass heavy bridge, overflowing into a noise brushed finale. Altogether a tasty flavour carrier for an effective floor heating.
“Spoken For” is not only the title track, but also the hymn coming out of the flipside ambush. There is no kick necessary to underpin what Nomi’s charismatic croon is laying down. Therefore a wise choice to let the arrangement of interspersed field recordings, percussive details and piano- and synth-decoration exercise in unobtrusiveness. Safe to say, this tune will refine many future peaktimes anyway.

Den Anfang macht Mario Aureo mit seinem Stripped Down Remix zu „Kuriose Naturale - Can´t Decide“. Bei dem Track handelt es sich um eine Auskoppelung aus der kürzlich veröffentlichten Various Artists -  6 Years Lost Remixes, welche auf Ritter Butzke Studio mit der Katalog # RBSLOST008 erschienen ist. Die Nummer selbst treibt ordentlich an und ist damit genau der richtige Einstieg in jeden Abend.

Wir möchten die Aufmerksamkeit aber nicht nur auf diesen einen Track lenken, sondern das ganze Release betrachten. Hier haben sich viele erstklassige Künstler gefunden, um den Originalen ein neues Kleid zu verpassen. Darunter sind Soukie & Windish, Sebo, Mario Aureo, Gunjah/Niconé, Spieltape und Tim Engelhardt. Die entstandenen Stücke überzeugen mit ihrer Clubtauglichkeit auf ganzer Linie und runden das 6 Years Lost Release stimmig ab.

There are few things we admire more than a self-made man or woman here at Data Transmission. Therefore when we came across the tech-house stylings of fast rising Mallorca producer, Danniel Selfmade, it didn't take us long to become the most ardent of fans.

Having enjoyed a breakout 2015 that saw him touch work his magic as far afield as Tokyo and deliver standout performances in London and Berlin, his nuanced take on techno has seen him garner attention from the likes of Richie Hawtin and Marco Carola, who have similarly tipped him for the big time.

Maintaining his momentum through into the new year, Danniel follows up his dance floor destroying exploits for Deeperfect Records, Beat It Music and Tres 14 with the two track 'Actually No' EP for Miami based label Goldentears Records. Showcasing the title track as our latest Debut Transmission, we just can't get enough of this little number's murky bass line and tribal drum patterns.

A firm statement of intent from the artist and the label, expect to hear plenty from both in the coming months.

Karim Sahraoui has been producing gems for many years under various names such as Djinxx, Soul Monkey and Electronique Resistance.

After a break 2014 saw his return to the business under his real name and producing music that is closer to him than ever. Releases included the future classic Eternal Life EP pt 1 on Derrick May’s Transmat and appearances on labels such as Cocoon.

Karim Sahraoui has been a Loveland favourite for a long time so a release and a gig were bound to happen. This year’s Loveland Festival will see its first performance by Karim and his Sacred Kingdom EP is set for release on Feb 29th both digital and vinyl on Loveland Recordings. The two originals are complemented by a driving Vince Watson remix.

Today's exclusive premiere from Karim is of ‘Horns Of Glory’ on which he takes his time to unfold the story of the track: A journey filled with beautiful melodies and rhythms that paint a lush landscape of sound.
