Another dream became true for me: I got the chance to do a cover version of the 72s classic song from Timmy Thomas. It`ll be out on june 15th 2015 on d:vision records. Feel free to leave some comments!

We are very proud to welcome Timo Jahns on d:vision.
Hailing from Göttingen, Timo is a mainstay in the German underground party circuit thanks to an endless list of re-edits, including his rework for the timeless ‘Pearls’ by Sade officially released on Get Physical’s sublabel Poesie Musik and flying through the Beatport charts earlier this year.
His love for soul singers is nothing new, so it’s no surprise that his latest release come in the form of a deluxe makeover of the 1972 Timmy Thomas masterpiece ‘Why Can’t We Live Together’.
Completely reimagined from top to bottom, this light and modern rendition beautifully lead the tune into pure atmospheric deep house territory that fits perfectly with the sultry and melancholic vocals which simply oozes passion. Exceptional from start to finish.

Blue Wheels Journey (solé Fixtape Vol.19)

Taking it back to the 70’s with this track. Back to the day when music wasn’t as loud as it is today. When you could hear each instrument clearly and it wasn’t peaking. Most of the music mastered today is going beyond 0db and it sounds way too muddy. I mastered this using techniques from some of the baddest engineers from back in the day. Just laid down live strings and i pretty much need to come in and throw down on the Mason And Hamlin Grand. This track is called “Nightlife.” This will be track 3 on my new record “The Story Of Us.”

East London's Simbad is a character who prefers to remain in the shadows.
Minds in the industry know him as one of the most gifted engineers out there and switched on lovers of bass from his many remixes and 2008's acclaimed LP 'Supersonic Revelation'.
Collaborator with Zed Bias, Phil Asher and Karizma, he's produced for Roots Manuva and a close affiliate of Gilles Peterson and his Brownswood label. Most recently he's remixed Deetron, Quantic and Cooly G and he's worked with Mala in Cuba. Chances are you've probably already got Simbad's gold-encrusted gems in your artillery and didn't even know it.
As a DJ, he's simply wicked. Embracing everything from classic rare groove, disco and soul to Y3K funk, footwork and world music, his selection hinges on stone cold quality above all else.
Simbad, we salute you! He's laid us down a superb mixtape chocked full of unreleased (*) good shit.

Hello again, it’s that time of the week, and we have a new show for you. And what a show it is.....it was just a couple of days ago that our Berlin resident Irish friend Neil Flynn sent us a beautiful mix of OMAR who plays with the 15 year strong and well known Miami collective known as DHM. They guys were resident DJs for the legendary Miami Aquabooty parties. Today you can catch DHM at their monthly residency at Electric Pickle in Miami. You can also catch OMAR in Berlin from time to time, playing with Lossless' own, Neil Flynn. This Mix was inspired by their recent set at the Body&Soul festival in Ireland.....well, we were immediately blown away by this set and also consider going to Body&Soul next year provided that these guys play together there. To make it short – we are more than happy to share this gem with you.
