What happens when East meets West...

East Meets West (Sam Dorko and Digital DJ Vic) combine the sounds of deep house and grimy hard hitting techno.  While only formed in 2017, the duo has been working in the house music underground for quite some time.  With over 3 decades of experience between the two of them Dorko and Vic make a powerhouse production team.  Drawing from all their experience as DJ’s, Dorko and Vic have been able to quickly push out enough material to last through the year.  With hard hitting exclusive mixes going out as we speak, keep your ears and eyes peeled for these two in the future!  

Hailing from Seoul, Korea Dorko has been a musician since age three.  Playing guitar, piano, and violin, Dorko draws from all his classical training to create melodic, uplifting breakdowns, and cinematic swells.  

Originally from Brooklyn, New York Vic started DJing in the late 80’s at the early age of 13 and by the 90’s he was old enough to play in some clubs. Vic was perfecting his craft when this new sound called house music came around and that was it he was hooked. Vic moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1993 and got involved in its club scene. Fast Forward 20 years, Vic and Dorko have an official podcast called Essence Of House which is available on Itunes and TuneIn Radio. 

Some of the duo’s personal favorite DJ’s/producers that inspire him to keep it going are Todd Terry, David Morales, Louie Vega and Junior Vasquez!  Keep an eye on these two as they rise through the ranks, and take over the underground.
