Hey everyone,

It’s me again. I’m sipping coffee and staring at this Mac’s calendar, suddenly realising it’s already been more than 4 months since the release of “Adamant”. I think thank-yous are way overdue so I’d like to take this opportunity to acknowledge everyone involved in the project as these have been a really amazing four months.

Enough nonsense and let’s back to business, or the purpose of this text: I (drumroll) proudly present the final 5 re-interpretations from some talented friends.

It’s an honour for me to have Francesco’s techno, David’s modular madness, Jake’s synthwork and Martin’s melodies all in one package, but being both fan and friend of everyone on board I’d be blatantly biased in describing this record’s contents.

So, since it’s 2014, why don’t we switch banalities, skip the “description" and “let the music do the talking” (ugh, did I really just write that?)

Blindsmyth's second album "All That Fiberglass" received quite some love after its release in February 2022. Several of the titles found their way both into the sets of many DJs, as well as the playlists and charts on everybody's favourite platforms.

Should you previously have been following Connaisseur, you will doubtlessly already be awaiting the remixes which usually succeed an album on our imprint. A format we have loved since our beginnings and for which, in all those years, we were rarely disappointed by our choice of remixers. The same can again be said about the interpretations for Blindsmyth now, with his originals offering a leeway for remix possibilities. Since we have again gathered a rather diverse collection of remixes, we have decided to release them in four parts.

Leading the charge for „Refiberd Vol. 3" is Norwegian electronic duo Ost & Kjex, who deliver an unexpected banging remix of "Connection Error". Known for their fun-driven yet sophisticated approach to electronic music, Ost & Kjex infuse their remix with a demanding bassline and a relentless energy that will make dancefloors quake with excitement. With their unique blend of techno prowess and subtle pinches of electro and disco, Ost & Kjex's remix of "Connection Error" is a true standout.

Adding a dose of bouncy deep house vibes to the mix, Deep Aztec steps up with a remix of "Delete Your Cloud". The South African-based producer masterfully weaves together melodic basslines, organic percussions, and infectious vocal samples, creating a feel-good and danceable deep house rendition that will keep listeners moving from start to finish.

Last but not least, NORLYZ brings his unique touch to "Uberfahrt" with an electronica/breakbeats version that takes the original track to new heights. NORLYZ's remix is a mesmerizing journey through intricate beats, atmospheric noisy textures, and captivating melodies, seamlessly blending electronica and breakbeats into a sublime and immersive sonic experience.

For Kiosk 024, Michael Ri/er and Felix E deliver an eclec:c bouquet of dreamy saw waves and body-moving percussion. ‘Plas:krosen’ feat. Solveig Eger is a gently morphing 5-tracker that explores the auditory intersec:on between natural and synthe:c soundscapes with remixes by Mulya, Xinobi, and Jacob Groening.

‘Plas:krosen’ merges emo:ve sirens and organic drums with clanging resonance and electric undercurrents. Resonant stabs and Solveig Eger’s mangled vocal hook cut across the track’s warm, chord-driven aesthe:c in a thought-provoking juxtaposi:on that leaves the listener to fill in the blanks.

Mulya’s rendi:on builds on the original’s underlying tension. Morphing staccato stabs and Mulya’s signature mar:al drum work transform ‘Plas:krosen’ into a pressurized up-tempo groover with stripped breakdowns and a shuddering energe:c apex.

@xinobi’s interpreta:on opens up a fairy-tale world of heavenly choirs drenched in nostalgia. Soothing waves of angelic chords and a sweeping carpet of washed-out white noise conjure a weightless dream of sensual exulta:on.

‘Berührung’ strips Michael Ri/er and Felix E’s mesmeric grooviness into an emo:onal hymn with anthemic quali:es. An emo:ve chord mantra envelopes the track in waves of soothing warmth that transport the beauty of human interconnectedness.

Jacob Groening's version of ‘Berührung’ trades drama for danceability. Anchoring the original’s cinema:c chords in a compact groove with a percussive edge, Jacob transforms the original into a floor-focused tool with a sweeping energy arc.

For their Kiosk ID debut, Michael Ri/er and Felix E deliver an EP steeped in the warm embrace of the saw wave. Combining melodic euphoria and an organic substructure with an intriguing vocal hook, ‘Plas:krosen’ is pure brain food for the soul.
