Dj Shynee has been roaming around the EDM world since 1999. He is a fan of all genres but a true Trance head. Starting his Bedroom Dj’s venture in 2013 to highlight Dj’s and Producers from home to give them the opportunity to be heard. He was strictly a vinyl mixer until this year, beginning in 2001, because he was snobbishly arrogant about what a Dj’s job is! Finally seeing the light and opportunities in going digital he has relaunched his career and love for the craft.
He’d like to give a huge thank you to those who helped to shape and change his life forever!

I got involved in EDM and deejay in the late 90s thanks to a friend of mine that bought a pair of Gemini turntables and some 90s Italo-Dance vinyl that we was listening in local disco.

From that point my own equipment evolved from Virtual Turntables 1.8 to Stanton ST90 passing by a pair of Pioneer CDJ 100 and my musical tastes quickly evolved from Italo-Dance music to Trance music, thanks to the Internet and the great community Tranceaddict.com.

In the 2006 I stopped to deejay and I sold my equipment but in the 2014 I started to slowly re-enter and I (finally) started to play and enjoy some good electronic music again.

I love instrumental uplifting and euphoric trance but I don't dislike to put in my sets some more deep and grovy progressive / techish tracks and some catchy vocals tunes.

I love Trance, House, Dance, EDM and Techno Music. Ich liebe für die Musik

The first time a heard a trance songs I think I was about 10 years old, so that about 19 years ago right now. I think it was one of the Rank 1 Anthems for one of the Sensation White events in Amsterdam. I heard it on the Dutch TV channel in I think it was their weekly top 40. All I could think at that time, what a terrible music as I was much more into what was called mainstream pop music back then. 

 It wasn’t untill Armin van Buuren released his album Imagine and started his Armin Only: Imagine World Tour that really got my mind set on trance music. I think I watched the live registration over 20 times on DVD this is also true voor Live DVD of Armin Only: Mirage. I ready for minsblow of the spectular show die hij keer op keer neer zet, a show that twinkled a my senses.

But the tracks back then that really kickstarted trance music for me were: Armin van Buuren vs. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Not Giving Up On Love (Original Mix) and also Armin van Buuren pres. Gaia - Status Excessu D (ASOT 500 Anthem)(Original Mix). Soon after trance became the only music I would be listening to all day. Because within the trance genre there so many different subtypes of trance it keeps surprising every day k lk all from the more downtempo progressive trance, to the emotional vocal tracks, all the way to the uplifting bangers!! A few years ago I started digging online in search of the latest en most exclusives tracks, liveset and radioshows. For a couple of years I’ve been doing exactly that on SoundCloud. The playlists are updated at least weekly and are very variable from all the latest trance radio shows, trance tracks to the best livesets from the latest events and festivals. Hope u enjoy all the music just as much I do!

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
If you can't spot a trend in my current likes it may be because it is diverse. I love listening to all my playlists which contain tracks that I like and if you like any of the music you must thank the artists not me.
