Manchester-based Polish artist Greg Ochman @gregochman (Lost Miracle, Traum, Radiant) presents his first EP on Univack Records titled 'Velvet Sun', with 3 awesome original mixes, and two first-class remixes by the well-known progressive and  organic house artists Dabeat @dabeat_music and Rafa'EL @rafael-music  

Greg may seem a newcomer, but he isn't. With this aka you can find releases since 2020, but he has a lot of music releases in all type of formats as other names like 'Robot Needs Oil'. When you listen to the music made by Greg Ochman, you instantly know that you are listening a special and different music. His pieces are rich in melodic elements which work together to get a unique lighting harmony. Chords, arpeggios, sequences, scales influenced by flamenco, eastern and balcanic music are mixing with brilliant  grooves that will present you a magic journey between the beautiful landscapes.

Release Info: 
Armonica's Cosmo remix is a dark and throbbing version that takes you from the beach-driven sunset mood of the original to the dark corners of a club. The cosmic, sparkling melodies lift the track into a climactic swirl, while their Silky rework brings the funk into the mix. Wennink's dreamy vocal is brought to the fore alongside a thumpin' slapped bassline that drives this track through its indie dance-inspired production.

Dodi Palese brings a heads down dancefloor energy that will surely make this a firm peak time classic, a proper underground house track that rises above its dance floor rhythm. A fast driving Ramirez-style bassline, syncopated vocals, and a hands-in-the-air melody that takes the roof off, before finally building to a siren-inspired drop.

Rising talent, Fat Cosmoe sprinkle Protection with some late night, early morning, deep house balearic glitter. They re-harmonize the track with a new uplifting chord progression, doubling the vocals with lush layers and pitch effects, adding a warm, rhythmic synth melody and their emotional production trademark, making this perfect for the afterparty.

PREMIERE: Henri Bergmann Feat. Wennink - Protection (Armonica Cosmo Remix) [Automatik]

'An artist with a growing and storied history with Particles, Li-Polymer returns with the twin-track "Magnolia". Remixes come from Australian and Brazilian talents.

Opening his Particles account with a remix of Matt Rowan in late 2014 and another for Lateral Cut Groove in early 2015, several original tracks featured on the seasonal Particles compilation series in 2015 and 2016 before "Crystal Serenity" saw the Portuguese artist release his debut solo EP in May 2017. A four-year hiatus followed before the Organic House gem that was "Jacaranda" hit the shelves in February 2021 with remixes from Hot TuneiK and LADS and Traumhouse. Now blossoming with "Magnolia", the title track is a glorious melange of reverberated and delayed percussive beats while a heavy beat anchors the mesmerising melodies that swirl across the sonic landscape. Over the 10-minute piece, textured pads and twinkling keys glisten and ambient effects provide a garden-like atmosphere as synthesised birds twitter on the breeze and off-beat chords provide subtle dancefloor character. Characterised by powerful rhythmic foundation, a strong bass groove keeps "Microclima" in check as rich aural textures and atmospheric effects continue the sonic narrative of the EP. Waxing and waning gently throughout, Li-Polymer's skill is to create a sonic odyssey full of Organic House magic.

A veteran of myriad production credits across a plethora of blue-chip imprints, GMJ's relationship with Proton continues to grow. A former regular on Particles, "Edge of Remembrance" and "Forgotten Wisdom" lit up the label in 2014 before 2016's "Intimation" and 2018's "Open Doors" continued a sparkling portfolio, the latter in collaboration with Tripswitch. Remixes of Kastis Torrau and Donatello, Oliver Lieb and James Monro have also followed as GMJ returns with a trademark remix of "Microclima". Taking the rhythmic cadence of the original and adding a delicious hi-hat swing, silky synths and smooth bass groove entwine effortlessly as elements from "Microclima" are fused with glorious new production material. Blossoming at the breakdown in emotive fashion, chords and synth phrasing are used to maximum effect before the deft new bassline creates a head-shaking second half.

Biografía

Dr. B es un músico y DJ/Productor de La Rioja, Argentina. Guitarrista y pianista influenciado por los sonidos del deep/progressive house.

Comenzó su aprendizaje en la música a los 12 años en una academia, donde no sólo aprendió a ejecutar un instrumento, sino también a estar en un escenario. Esto lo llevó a compartir muchas experiencias con diferentes músicos, bandas e inclusive shows en teatros para fiestas de fin de año.

Pasado el tiempo, una noche en una fiesta familiar su hermana ponía música, y le explicó brevemente como mezclaba las canciones. Esto despertó su interés, y valiéndose de una mezcladora que le prestó su padre, comenzó a experimentar mezclando música electrónica.

Luego de haber aprendido lo básico, comenzó a tocar a modo de trabajo en diferentes fiestas, lo cual le ayudó a instruirse a través de la experiencia, de forma autodidacta y utilizando la teoría musical que había adquirido previamente.

A los 16 años decide inmiscuir en la producción musical, focalizándose en la música electrónica. Para ello realizó un curso a distancia de mezcla y mastering con Mariano Blaistein, un ingeniero en sonido de la ciudad de Buenos Aires.

A día de hoy, produce su propia música, la cual ha llegado a encajar en sellos discográficos como Sound Avenue, Soundteller, Massive Harmony Records. Además tuvo la oportunidad
de publicar su primer EP el 10 de Octubre del 2019 en Stellar Fountain, llamado 'Beyond the Earth'.

Alex Efe is a Uruguayan DJ and music producer based in Montevideo, passionate and dedicated to the constant progress and evolution of electronic music, focusing on the House genre and its variations.

Deeply influenced by Global Underground through the work of renowned artists such as Sasha, Nick Warren, and Digweed, among others, his innate curiosity and restlessness as a self-taught musician—always exploring new formats, sounds, textures, and musical techniques—has led him throughout his life on a personal journey of self-discovery, healing, and evolution.

His music has received support from various artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Weird Sounding Dude, Simply City, Marcelo Vasami, DJ Rudy, Cream, Mayro, and Ricky Ryan. He has released tracks on labels including Electronic Groove Records, Lake Underground, Starlight Group, Future Avenue, AH Digital, and OneDotSixTwo. This has driven his regional expansion with performances in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Brazil—one of his main goals being to share his musical expression worldwide.

Since 2011, he has led the Clubbing Mvd project alongside Diego Berrondo as well as Progressive House Uruguay, organizing events in his home country while promoting and inspiring new talent.
