The Rabbit Hole

This track was originally made using IOS GradeBand back in 2017. 
As I was never happy with it (it sounds to dull to me) I decided to remix and master it using Logic Pro for mixing and OZONE 11 for mastering. After doing that I realised that the original track just turned into a new one which I invite you to listen now.
Hopefully I did better this time :-)

Well , here we go with a new addition to the fold , Greg Willis from Cardiff , Wales , great Sax player . This is a feel good Country Rock song , hope you like it ! Next one from Charlie and the Fox is either the 8th or 14th ( bit of a cock up with my distributor ) It's a lovely song , again with Greg . On the 10th is me and Greg again , followed by me and Gaz Brownie with our 2nd release . It's all go !

Moi j’avance ,égaré comme on sort de la guerre
Je n’ai aucun souhait je n’ai plus de prières .

Voilà l’orage qui gronde, et qui s'éloigne au loin,
Te souviens tu encore de la tiédeur des matins ?
Et puis le vent s’essouffle , laissant sa place au calme,
Pourquoi n’avons nous pu jamais baisser les armes ?

The Laughter Of The Elements

In the pouring rain, I wander alone, 
In a desolate setting, my footsteps imprint the earth 
Gnarled trees sing of our past embraces
Today I have only myself to shelter.

In the sky, lightning embraces the dark night,
In my patched skull, reigns the obscurity of a mental home
Loaded with laughter, turmoil and the languor of lovers
 In this desolate wilderness, I wander sadly.

I hear the furious wind
rain and thunder
I shelter as I can from the laughter of the elements.

No doubt morning will disperse the shadows
Giving birth to light to chase away the dark night. 
I'm moving forward, lost like someone emerging from war.
I have no wishes, I have no prayers.

Here's the storm, rumbling and receding into the distance,
Do you still remember the warm mornings?
And then the wind dies away, giving way to calm,
Why couldn't we ever lower our weapons?
