Alexey Sonar -  is one of the most ideological and active representatives of the Russian club industry, a DJ, a producer, a co-owner and a manager of the labels Intricate Records and SkyTop, the host of the weekly radioshow "SkyTop", and in the past his well known  worldwide radioshow «Asphalt» had been broadcasting for 10 years on the Internet and on FM radiostations in several countries. Today, his name is consistently in the top 5 rank as one of the best progressive house, melodic house & techno DJs in Russia.

As an artist, he regularly takes part in major music events in Russia, including Kazantip, Epizode, and actively travels with performances in Russia and around the world, whether it is the legendary London club Ministry of Sound, Europe or Exotic India, South Africa and Vietnam.

Regads to Alexei’s talents as a booking agent, clubbers of Russian cities, including his native home town Murmansk, were able to see and hear Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Grum, John 00 Fleming, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Gabriel & Dresden, Kolombo, Paul Oakenkefold , Orkidea,  Andy Moor, Cosmic Gate, Serge Devant, and many other artists. The most successful releases of Alexey have recently been released on the home label Intricate Records and have been supported by many top artists worldwide of the dance scene.

The concept behind The Imaginarium is to give a digital platform to underground dance music, its artists and its associated culture. As such a few like minded individuals got together to push forward with this mantra and start a monthly podcast which showcases honest, cerebral, dance music that the individuals adore, love to play both in public, as DJ’s but also privately whilst immersing ourselves in this culture. We’ll continue to push those musical boundaries.

As in life there must be constant progression. We’ve welcomed some insanely talented minds and intellectual property who live the same ethos, into the family. Together as The Imaginarium we will be bringing you unique event’s that will really speak of the combined ethos’s of global tribalism, togetherness, equality, honesty, sustainability, individuality and most importantly, love.
