I write lyrics for fun and hear melodies for them in my head. I get by with a little help from my friends.

I have been a visual artist all my life, but have always Loved music and wanted to play music and have loved to sing since I was kid, but was always too darn shy to do anything in front of people! 
Then I Discovered Soundcloud and thought this would be the perfect place to share with other like minded souls who would not make fun of me! You give me courage!

I'm a recording hobbyist whose primary interests are old school country and Americana.  My studio occupies an 11' x 11' room and, for the most part, I am the "house band."  My wife is a musician as well and if I'm really lucky, she contributes as a singer and/or guitarist sometimes.  Plus my now 10 year old granddaughter also contributes whenever we can get her in here (she lives overseas).  She loves the studio and we have a blast.  Many wonderful memories for sure.  All in all, a wonderful creative outlet for an old man who loves music and is doing his best to pass that passion on to future generations.
