NOAH.

NOAH began creating custom mix tapes at a single digit age before he owned or could even reach a turntable.  His love of compiling music as a selector grew from making radio edits on pink and yellow Maxell 90 minute cassettes to playing music for friends in his small Southern Illinois hometown.  His life as a disc jockey began to take shape while moving the bodies of sweaty coeds for 4 years at The University of Wisconsin-Madison in the late 90's.  While on Spring Break in Jamaica in 2000 he played his first large venue, De Buss and the following year returned to Negril for the entire Spring.  The few months he spent there playing music in on the West Bank in his early twenties opened his heart and mind to Reggae, deepening his musical and spiritual roots forever.  This short residency abroad while caring for two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, earned him the name NOAH, which followed him home and left him with the burning desire to grow into a vinyl disc jockey and later seek his first long-term residency stateside and the rest is history.    

NOAH has had the privilege of twisting knobs behind the booth of nearly every St. Louis venue and still he treats every booking he is blessed to play with pure and genuine love and excitement.  This year alone he has played across the North American continent from Shambhala Music Festival in Canada to after parties at Coachella, underground events in Chicago and he most recently opened shows for the legendary Diplo and future hero Notaker. He continues to defy musical genres, filling his always unpredictable sets with new remixes of contemporary tracks adored by millions as well as with classic and future house, techno, electro, deep and tropical house, disco, and bass music as well as anything else that stands to move the room.  His signature black on black attire with eyes forever shielded by the tilted brim of his hat of the same color are intended to keep the crowds focus during his live sets right where it belongs…

Known for his ability to move crowds, dig deep in the crates, and always keep it funky; DJ MAHF walks a fine line between artistic turntablist and party rocker. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri he began experimenting on the decks when he was in high school. Since, he has played just about every major venue in the region & has been all over the world spreading his signature sound.

In St. Louis, MO The Riverfront Times has crowned him "Best Hip Hop DJ" 7 different times including 2013. He also took home St. Louis' 2010 Red Bull Thre3style Champion and then went on to place 4th in U.S. Finals. 

He has had the honor of sharing the stage with artists ranging from hip hop heavyweights Snoop Dogg, Tech N9NE, Danny Brown, & most of the Rhymesayers camp to legendary DJs such as Z-Trip, Shadow, & Cut Chemist. In 2013 he was Bud Light's DJ in New Orleans for Super Bowl XLVII & 2014 in New York for Super Bowl XLVIII. Today, MAHF is a very active member of Indyground Ent. and has put in work on a number of releases & tours with Kansas City's Steddy P.

MAHF has always been active in the remix/mixtape game as well. Ongoing series such as Homemade Junk & Press Play At Night keep fans satisfied, but the projects to come will see him exploring even more new territory. When at home, DJ MAHF holds down a number of weekly & monthly gigs in towns around the Midwest.
