Geil is a French artist living in Montpellier who started his career on the Techno scene in 2006, since then he has been working as a producer under the name of Citizen Kain.
This new project, more intimate, more personal, with its subtle sounds is also more narrative. It is devoted to atmospheric House/Tech house with relentless grooves and a characteristic rhythms, like the evidence of a sensible and highly talented personality. 

Next up on Claude Monnet's 20 year strong label SSOH is Geil with a hot new track that gets remixed by Berlin techno talent Ian Pooley, the label boss himself and Bedrock man Atapy. The original from Geil is a romantic late night and mid tempo house tune with warm and soulful pads that shimmer above the drums. A seductive, whispered vocal line is delivered in french and adds to the steaminess and all in all its a faultless deep house classic. 

Atapy remixes with a much sterner and steely vibe pervading. The percussion is stiff and mechanical, the vocal is more ghostly and you can imagine this ding damage in a sweaty back room during peak time. Ian Pooley, label boss and long time DJ and producer on the Berlin scene, then flips the original into a slightly more driven deep hose track with rubbery drums, thick synth lines and a sense of real purpose. 

Finally, Claude Monnet comes good with his deeply groovy, hypnotically swaying remix. His pads stretch off into the distance and the percussion adds bite to the soft synths so that you remain locked from start to finish. You don't get to 58 releases without being a great label, and SSOH proves that once again here.

With "Kaggua" Viennese producer Stefan Moerth moved his laboratory of futuristic Afro-Brazilian music – Ku Bo – onto another continent: Africa. Discovering the African beat science of music styles like Kuduro, Kwaito and Hi Life, Ku Bo mixed up the best sounds of various African regions on his third release for Man Recordings. Following his Ku Bo releases on Man Recordings, Mörth was invited to co-produce Buraka Som Sistema´s acclaimed third "Komba" album and their hit single "Hangover (Bababa)".

"Kaggua” features Ugandian singer Sarah Tshila ( singing enchanted over a mad Kuduro inspired beat. In 2007, BBC world service named Tshila as one of the best 20 unsigned artists in a talent search named „The Next Big Thing“. Her contribution on „Kaggua“ proves her amazing voice talent, which fuses the rich musical and lyrical traditions of her people with the concious hip hop rhymes. Lisbon´s Batida provided the remix.

Born in a town called Mestia, in the Caucasian mountains of Georgia - the highest peak in the whole of Europe – Voicedrone is now a name heard by many in London Town.

Laying down his roots and dream studio in East London, this newfound sanctuary is where he's now full throttle into his solo productions. Surrounding himself with vintage synths, drum machines, and his latest purchase a vintage Roland Space Echo is where he finds his comfort; and it shows in his forthcoming EP 'Emotional Disorder’. His debut EP combines the sounds of some of his finest kit – beautiful synths and retro drum machines help create tracks like 'Nomina'.

The release is already gaining momentum; attracting the ears of Dixon, KiNK, DJ Tennis, and Mano Le Tough and more plus radio plays on Rinse FM and NTS in the UK. He continues to join the dots between Georgia and London - connecting many of his creative friends to his music.

To accompany the EP, they've created two enchanting videos that delve into the visions behind 'Why' and 'Nomina', directed by two rising stars from his hometown. The EP will be released digitally via his own label IMPERFECT on 19th August plus vinyl date in the pipeline.

MOLO, hymne à la slow life

J'ai composé ce track en y mettant ce que m'inspire cette période, une sorte de souvenir à moi-même pour plus tard. Je crois que c'est la première fois que je fais quelque chose d'un peu happy d'ailleurs, pourtant confiné comme jamais à regarder par la même fenêtre depuis 1 mois. Les machines allumées, une simple jam pour arriver à ce track quasi naturellement,
