Those little things that we’ve been told all our lives wander into the deeper recesses of our minds, and we sometimes only remember them when it’s too late. Here are a few reminders that should make your life easier.

Remember what you want in the big picture instead of what you think you must have this very moment. Most things we desire are not needs; they are wants. Being wise with your money promotes self-confidence and peace of mind.
Get a good night’s sleep. If you are tired, you cannot function at your best, and you need to be at the top of your game as much as possible. So turn off the TV and sleep. It’s good for you, emotionally and physically.
Don’t loan money to those close to you. If you feel they deserve your help, make it a gift, because an unpaid loan can undo a friendship. I usually offer to give 10 percent of what’s requested and suggest the person find nine more friends like me.
Write thank-you notes by hand. Hardly anyone does this anymore, yet it can be so meaningful. Taking the time to write a thank-you note shows that you truly appreciated the gift.
Give some love to a person in need. Visit a rest home where you don’t know anyone and have a conversation with a stranger. Go to the hospital and volunteer, or read to children at the library. You will feel better for it.
When someone loses a pet, don’t say, “Well it was only an animal.” People bond with their pets like children, and those pets become family members. So be sensitive when someone you know suffers such a loss.
When you think back on your life, focus on the good that has come your way, not on what you think you may have missed. Remember that no matter how many goodies other people you know have, your life is more abundant than most on the planet.
It’s okay to slow down. Some people try to pack as much as they can into a day or a vacation. If you take a little more time getting things done or going places, you won’t burn out and you’ll see much more.
Read a book that you’ve read before. This is like reconnecting with an old friend. Plus, rereading an old book will call forth memories from the time you last read the story.
Give yourself a gift. It may be traveling to a distant land or simply taking the day off. Whatever you decide on doing, enjoy it with every ounce of energy and appreciation in you. Know that you deserve it!
Life is full of wonderful miracles to be found almost everywhere you look. The problem is that most people are wearing blinders, simply plodding through the day without appreciating the world around them. This world offers so many opportunities for a joyful existence. Please take some time each day to experience the wonders all around you.

Surge of Current is the maximum instantaneous input current drawn by an electrical device when first it is switched ON. It is also known as an inrush current, input surge current or switch on surge. Inrush current can be as high as 100 times the normal steady state current.

I would like to interpret the title as "energy boost", a bit of exitement to cheer one up. I got inspired one day, playing around with some clean guitar pick up settings, cycling through some fusion chords, the rest came naturally as a result. On top of these chords I chose a more Jazz/Bebop like approach of playing a long and fast unisono theme over the changes. The theme basically stays the same while changing the comping, both in chords and rhythms. In general there are three sections to this, introduction and theme, solo section (I took two solos in a row ;)), interlude after which returning to the theme again and leading that into an outro...

Recently I have been playing a lot of electric guitar again due to this new brilliant (maybe to some old school) Fender Elite Strat HSS Shawbucker I got a few month back. A joy to play, with a large variety of pickup settings, generating a wide range of sounds. Exactly that I used to the full here with at points 9 guitar tracks running at the same time with different parts and sounds. Apart from that only the drums are programmed. Fun to do!

This song I wrote in India during a TTC(Yoga teacher training). I wrote it for my first ever lesson I was going to have. I was SOOO nervous, and I refused to have more than 4 "students". 
I remember some of my fellow students got very dissapointed (Im still sorry, but I was just too nervous;)
So anyways this song was for the last part of the lesson, where it was time for some "Savasana" Relax time.. also called "Corpse pose" haha. 
And now I felt for producing it.

This flavorful recipe for Kung Pao Noodles can be made with chicken, shrimp, tofu or my very favorite….roasted cauliflower! A few years back, while visiting China, Brian and I took a couple wok cooking classes and got a feel for authentic Kung Pao which is the perfect balance between spicy, tangy, sweet and umami flavors. This is my own simplified version that I like to serve with noodles instead of traditional rice. Keep it vegetarian or add meat — it’s up to you.

Hey! Here we are: 2018. Last year was rough. Not just for me, but for several friends and family members. This year's going to be better, especially if Soundcloud stops trying to get me to listen to seriously popular pop music. That's not what I'm here for. 

School has started and I'm presently lost in a new and overly complicated work/school/life schedule, but it's okay because I like waking up at 5 in the morning. That's a lie. Was it convincing? 

Last weekend - or the weekend before maybe - was the quarterly GM48 game jam. Vinnie and Bacon and I came up with a game that was based on the idea of using paper as a tool. We had the idea that the paper being modified would make different noises, and that the noises would all need to work with an underlying track. Confusing, yeah? I was happy, because this is a piece I wouldn't have written under different circumstances. It's patient, and it fights all my tendencies to get bored easily. I actually really like it. 

I won't lie...I haven't yet downloaded the game and tried it. My PC is having some screen issues presently. If you want to try it, it's gm48.net, and the game is called "The Papier Experience." 

I'm making progress - slow progress - on the Letterpress Mighty project, and am hopeful to have a few more tracks done shortly for that. I'm kinda easing in to my new year's resolutions to be more productive in music and stuff. It's gonna be okay. 

I gotta go read some stuff for school now. Hope everyone's well!
