Insain was born June 6 in New Orleans La. "Downtown 9th Ward as he like to say".
He's the elder of his twin brother but the two are the 3rd oldest followed by a younger brother and a younger sister.. with a total 5 boys and 1 girl and Both parents home.
since then the twins have been virtually in-separable, and as most twins do they enjoyed playing many pranks on family and friends, including occasionally
 trading places in grade school. While the family is close-knit and enjoyed a stable and full home life, Insain felt set-apart from others as far as friends would go.
But he managed to secure a measure of individuality that is remarkable and expressed in most of his lyrics on most of his "twin Brother" tracks (Davon "RediQulous" Smith).
Together he and his family was Displaced by Hurricane Katrina In 2005 and was relocated in Atlanta ,Ga. where they have falling deep into there music.
Fueled by witnessing first hand the devastation of Hurricane Katrina on there City and the tragic loss of close friends and loved one.
Insain vents  heart and soul on a few track the pain he felt and still feels about the event that took place.
David "Insain" Smith and Davon "RediQulous" Smith continue to produce and astounding amount of "Grade A Music" .With a new face.

David Smith gives the definition of "Insain"  as "in my Sain mind" , with that said and while listening to his lyrics you will feel the heart and soul of and
passionate  artist that Keep it real and loves what he do. With a style and flare this generation and those to come will easily love and grown to..
