When Dollytopia hands you lemons, turn them into a song. That's the attitude of Dolly Spice, who draws from life experiences to create personal and powerful music with a sound that is all her own. Dolly Spice is an up-and-coming indie rocker who is pioneering a unique and engaging music style dubbed by some as "Dollypop."

"Dollytopia" is a word she coined to describe the series of twists and turns that her life has taken, which she has then turned into the driving force that fuels her music.

She has come a long way since writing "The Froggy on the Rock" at age three, leaving small-town Michigan and the college indie rock scene for big city Washington DC and a life of service in the Air Force Reserve.

The path has been rocky, strewn with more than its share of challenges and successes, joys and pains, experiences that have armed Dolly with a story to tell and the passion to put it into music.

With her debut album "Shadows", she is beginning to project her voice and her unique sound to the world. "Shadows" is an eclectic mix of meaningful, personal songs, combining powerful vocals with artfully-crafted melodies, elements of acoustic and synth-driven retro-pop, feel-good campfire folk, and guitar-heavy vintage rock.
