Behind Shoao is the versatile Argentinian producer Lautaro Gonzalez. Originally from Cordoba, Argentina, he left the country in 2018 to move to Mexico. After receiving a classical education as a young boy, he discovered the world of jazz, funk, blues, rock, folk music, and tango in his early teens. From then on, he's continued to broaden his musical horizons. When producing, Shoao finds it impossible to stick to just one genre, but then again, why would he? His eclectic, rhythmic, and melodic tracks reflect his wide musical range as he mixes genres like electronic music, acoustic, folk, and singer-songwriter in fresh and unexpected ways. Ultimately, he likes to see where the music takes him and not the other way around. Shoao currently resides in Tulum, and his latest EP, "Goze Fino," confirms an exciting and productive year for this young producer.
