It all started somewhere between the Mediterranean and Red Sea. It’s the ‘black land’ of Egypt, where the story of Aly & Fila came to life. 5000 years of genesis – including its world-famous pharaohs, pyramids and ancient civilization – later, another thing became part of its culture. Pure trance music, from the hands of Aly Amr Fathalah and Fadi Wassef Naguib.

For Aly & Fila, things really kicked off in 2003, when their ‘Eye of Horus’ turned into a big club hit, played out by all trance-minded A-list DJ’s. It would soon be clear that the Egyptian producers were much more than a one-hit wonder. In the years following, Aly & Fila released a slew of club-scorching, chart-hitting trance tracks and remixes, of which ‘Spirit of Ka’, ‘Ankh – Breath of Life’ and ‘Lost Language’ managed to put millions of trance fans into a frenzy. Outside the studio, Aly & Fila became known for their all round appeal to audiences around the globe. All the energy of their gigs at major festivals, nightclubs and events came together in the 2009 DJ Mag Top 100 Poll, where Aly & Fila climbed all the way to the 22nd position. To Aly & Fila however, their journey in music is about more than just popularity. Clear evidence of that, is their very own ‘Future Sound of Egypt’ label, part of Armada Music. The label is set up to release high quality trance by some of the world’s most talented and passionate producers.

Aly & Fila feel right at home in that group. Their debut album ‘Rising Sun’, is the result of their life-long passion for the trance genre and all its treasures. On ‘Rising Sun’, the guys join forces with talented vocalists and producers such as Tiff Lacey, Sue McLaren, Josie, Denise Rivera, Philippe El Sisi, Bjorn Akesson and many more. The characteristic sound of Aly & Fila, uplifting and euphoric trance, is represented in all tracks of debut album ‘Rising Sun’, bringing you one disk of pure energy.

A melodic fusion has occurred in the EDM scene, as the two young producers Ahmad Hassan 17' aka A-CEWELL and Amr Abdelrahman 15' aka Electrified combined their talents under one name called 'Aviators' , this young duo have a dream in becoming one of the top producers of the electronic music industry.

They try to combine the progressive genre with the trancey taste, they also try to add their signature on the nowadays music and invent a new style; A real style not a commercial one. Each one of them had his own career, but as a childhood friends, they decided to unite their careers in one professional career.

At the end of 2013, they started their very first project, and they made a lot of originals and remixes that will be nearly released. They always try to improve their production's skills; aiming to be the best one day.

Since the mid 90s Alex M.O.R.P.H has set out to shapeshift within the dance scene as per his alias, leaving no facet of trance unturned and showing the top of the tree is a position that he’s grown rather fond of. Even in a time where stats and streams, followers and figures are pushed to the front, the maths behind M.O.R.P.H’s staying power are frankly mind-boggling. ‘Not All Superheroes Wear Capes’ said the man on his 2016 album – but M.O.R.P.H. is deserving of honours fit for a king. “Passion, discipline, a lot of hard work, and most importantly the love for music”, ensure his crown never slips.

From collaborations with Paul van Dyk and Armin van Buuren (both of whom have always repped M.O.R.P.H. to the fullest), to remixes of Dash Berlin, Gareth Emery, Aly & Fila and Faithless, M.O.R.P.H. is the epitome of can’t stop-won’t stop, earning VIP entry to the globe’s most in-demand clubs and arenas as he continues with the energy and passion of his 1996 self when the Seelenlandschaften imprint came calling. Again it’s all about balance and the right way of going about keeping things simple: “it’s just so important that all elements fit together well: that’s how you keep the atmosphere instead of just adding some big and loud synths in the break that rips the audience in two. It might work fine on the dancefloor, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not how I do things”. Always an in-demand remixer, if you’re given the keys to take on hall-of-famers such as ‘Madagascar’ by Art of Trance and ‘Carte Blanche’ by Veracocha, you know you’ve been doing something right. “One thing has never changed – a heart beating for music”.
 
Back to those statistics. M.O.R.P.H. is an all-time trance bestseller on Beatport and has twice entered the fabled DJ Mag Top 100 list. With a calculator-smashing amount of productions, remixes, compilation mixes and single of the year awards, M.O.R.P.H. has proved time and again his music is for the masses, with streams for favourites such as ‘An Angel’s Love’ and ‘The Reason’ racing into the millions upon millions.
