Capital Cities - Safe and Sound (Markus Schulz vs Grube & Hovsepian Remix) is the first release from Markus Schulz since his fifth artist album 'Scream 2' that came out earlier this year on Armada. The trance-led remix battle between trance-legend Markus Schulz and the formidable EDM duo Grube & Hovsepian makes for a huge and significant club anthem of the indie-pop record. ‘Safe and Sound’ comes out on the 22nd April on Capitol Records.

Debuted on New Years Eve at POPNYE and since played out at huge events including A State of Trance, Ultra Music Festival and Transmission, 'Safe and Sound' captivates the crowd like no other. The track resonates itself in a pure cause to celebrate and has even served as the background music to several engagements at Markus’ shows!

Markus launched 2014 with Scream 2, the17-track follow up to the extremely successful album Scream. Since the 2012 release of Scream, Markus’ schedule has been relentless and his return with Scream 2 saw him push boundaries and pour heart and soul into the album that is simply massive. His relentless touring and commitment to spending time in the studio to make music for his fans have together gained him sincere respect across the clubland and secured his place as one of the biggest DJ’s in the world.

Markus’ performances during Miami’s Winter Music Conference saw him play host to the world’s electronic family as he played a special 10 hour open to close solo set at his home of Club Space and rounded off the week with good friend Ferry Corsten as New World Punx as they performed at Ultra Music Festival.

South Africa's Dirkie Coetzee and Namibia's Pierre Pienaar are not only great friends but also musical brothers and are about to perform a joint Open-to-Close at Dirkie's club night We Are Trance in Johannesburg at time of writing! They share a love of driving and uplifting trance music, so this collaboration is exactly what you'd expect and hope for - soaring melodies, pounding beats and plenty of euphoria. In case you were wondering, the title is a Fijian word that means 'to bring life' or 'to bring fire'.

Back to those statistics. M.O.R.P.H. is an all-time trance bestseller on Beatport and has twice entered the fabled DJ Mag Top 100 list. With a calculator-smashing amount of productions, remixes, compilation mixes and single of the year awards, M.O.R.P.H. has proved time and again his music is for the masses, with streams for favourites such as ‘An Angel’s Love’ and ‘The Reason’ racing into the millions upon millions.
