Jedes Jahr aufs Neue überrollt mich dieses großartige, warme und atemberaubende Fest. Die "BeiBirke" Stage auf der Nation of Gondwana nimmt mir alle Emotionen und den vollen Atem! Ich bin sehr stolz und glücklich, Teil dieses wunderbaren Festivals zu sein. Zusammen mit Charon und Tommes war es mir in diesem Jahr eine äußerst große Ehre gemeinsam zu spielen und ich hatte unglaublichen Spaß! Wenn auch etwas holprig meinerseits, so rollt das Set doch ganz gut voran! :P

Every year this great, warm and breathtaking festival overtakes me. The "bei birke" floor on the nation of gondwana takes all my emotions and breath away every year! I am very proud and happy to be part of this wonderful festival.

Together with Charon and Tommes, it was an extremely great honour to play together this year and I had incredible fun! Even if a bit bumpy, the set is rolling along quite well! See you next year!

Producer/Dj based in Berlin. Razvan Botez aka Utip is an up and coming Berlin based artist who draws his inspiration from the city's unique underground house scene. His music combines a series of minimal and house elements with groovy beats. He enjoys and finds his escape in the beauty of connecting to an audience through the energy created by the sound of the music.

He has collaborated with labels like: Lemon Herb Records (UK), Layer Caked Records (UK), Musik Lab Records (Uk), Backstage Records (Romania), Ariki Records (Romania), Conceptum Records (Brazil) & Evaporate Records (Taiwan).

He played music in Berlin in Clubs like: Sisyphos, Golden Gate, Crack Bellmer, Birgit. He is currently a resident at Bloop London.

Utip Showcase - 06.07.24

The soundquilt is a site specific audio installation that combines local field recordings and interviews into a live musical performance designed to bring a new perspective to the spaces, sounds, and ideas captured therein.

I spent the first days of Pura Vida Festival Retreat doing a few workshops, collecting field recordings, random sounds, and short interviews with some of the community. I then integrated those sounds into my live set and performed this new combination on Saturday night.

The performance was a delight... the festival and its community gifted me so many wonderful chunks of audio to integrate and so many wonderful moments of dancing and freedom together... the receptivity and connectivity of the audience that night affected me very deeply. <3

I recorded this new version of the set live from my studio in the last days (as there was a problem with the recording from the original performance), and it immediately immersed me again in warm feels and fond memories.

Thanks to the Pura Vida team and the whole community that made this experience possible.
