Now in its second decade, with a steady stream of the most forward thinking and cutting edge techno productions, Drumcode has one of the biggest selections of releases from industry heavy hitters, whilst not forgetting its future by bringing the newest talented producers into the limelight, where Layton Giordani is now a name firmly within that line up.

The New York born, but now EU based producer first had recognition back in 2014, and his debut release came via Drumcode with his track “Rivington” on the A-Sides Vol5 compilation in 2016. 

Consisting of 12 original tracks, the album packs a punch when it comes to no-nonsense techno. Successfully weaving relentless drums and catchy vocal hooks into a selection of thick, brooding, atmospheric tracks.

The 28th Chapter sees Djuma Soundsystem team up with Westerby for our latest story in sound: the cosmic afro tech of ‘Disambigua’.

Now based in Copenhagen, Norwegian artist Djuma Soundsystem was catapulted into the public's consciousness over a decade ago with his club classic 'Les Djinns' on Get Physical Music. His organic, sample-heavy signature sound is the perfect combination with fellow Copenhagen artist Westerby’s rougher, analogue synths and techy edges.

‘Disambigua’, their much-anticipated follow up to smash hit ‘Koma Kobache’ (Get Physical), is a standout cut which is already turning heads on dancefloors across Europe with its dark groove and killer vocal hook.

Rising star Jonathan Kaspar (Objektivity, Pets Recordings) is first up on the Editions, where he takes things deep. Built around the interplay of synth lines in call and response, his rework is a pure bass monster.

Meanwhile, label regular KatrinKa marks her latest release on Chapter 24 with an Edition that places the emphasis on a trademark infectious groove, paired with a spiritual melodic motif; a perfect balance of darkness and light.

The package is rounded out by Aaaron. The in-demand producer has worked with everyone from Defected and Get Physical to (more recently) Connected and Yoshitoshi. He focuses on deep, powerful drums in a version heavy on tension.

With this latest Chapter there can be no doubt: four different flavours of ‘Disambigua’ which together add up to a clear and coherent whole.

We've assembled an all-star crew of artists to remix an incredible original by Active Child. Everyone truly brought their A-game, and the results speak for themselves. Many timeless dance floor moments are sure to come from this release. 

MDK is a new project by someone responsible for some of the most iconic tracks in the past 10 years. The man behind it is none other than Matthew Dekay. Joining him is another legend, known for his emotional and unique approach, someone taking a no-compromise approach to production and sound quality, a man that needs no introduction – Stimming.

As chance would have it, a couple more of our dear friends wanted to join this project, upon hearing about it, quickly turning it into a mini-album. Dave DK's Pacific Ride is a melodic journey, while his stripped down Topanga Dub goes into darker territory. This one will be right at home in the desert or a warehouse, just the way we like it. Pablo Bolivar rounds things out with a serious four to the floor jam, alongside a nostalgic ambient version that serves as a perfect closer to this remix EP.

As a DJ, producer and label boss of AEON, Berlin’s Alex Niggemann’s career has been instrumental in the continued development of electronic dance music. His ever-restless creativity and desire to build a platform for music that defines the deeper side of the electronic spectrum, led Alex to launch his very successful label, AEON in 2013 – an imprint which has gone on to play an integral part in building Alex’s impressive repertoire of releases to this point and beyond. His aim for the label is to build a representative artistic platform that mirrors the peak time DJ sets that he plays, referencing the spirit of classic, timeless house and techno and updating it for the future.
