Urban Gardening

This set was recorded live at Rites of Dance – Earthbound, held in April 2025.
Earthbound was a journey of grounding, primal connection, and embodied presence. The night invited dancers to root deeply into the body, into the earth, and into the raw, pulsing rhythms of this human life. This set weaves deep basslines, tribal percussion, and earthy textures designed to move you from the ground up, to shake loose what no longer serves, and to call you back to your centre. A dancefloor rite for reclaiming our power and remembering our roots.

The Return Cycle is an epic, pulse-driven exploration of Earth’s forgotten rhythms, ages lost and reborn, civilizations rising and falling with cosmic tides. The lyrics reflect on ancient calendars, cataclysms, and the idea that time is not linear but spiral, echoing through stone, myth, and memory. With themes drawn from cycles like the Younger Dryas, precessional ages, and solar resets, the song builds with intensity and awe, suggesting we are nearing another great turning. It’s both a warning and an awakening, a call to remember what was forgotten before the wheel spins again.

The Inside of ME with Jennifer Elwell Comeau

Frank was just two years old when his mother died during the Spanish flu outbreak. He never knew her as “Mum” — only as the quiet figure glimpsed through the crack in the bedroom door, too sick to hold him.

She was buried in Portsmouth, not in a churchyard, but in the loose ground of the streets alongside many others, marked only by wooden crosses.

This piece is about that day — her funeral. Through Frank’s eyes: strangers weeping at makeshift graves, fires lit for purification, rows of coffins waiting for the earth. A city walking over its dead. A boy, too young to grieve, standing in the presence of loss without yet knowing what it meant.

This piece is inspired by the true story of my grandfather’s event noted in his journal. This is incredibly personal to me as each life hold a story that should be heard.

Composer. Remixer. Producer. Singer. It took much time, hopefully not too much until these days when I made real, what I always dreamed of. I discovered my voice and had the courage to use it, either by reading and singing. My decision has been made: I will publish own songs here. My first own composition incl. lyrics is "Weissblaue Gefühle", sung in German. Next came "Bel Étage" a dancetrack being inspired by the lockdown and the remote contact to nature. The 3rd song "A Water Symphony" also composed and produced by me, sung by VOICEPROOF, more information in the songinfo. "Departure" was a recorded live by playing around with some Filters and turning Knobs.....

I started my musical journey at the age of five, initially composing music with tablature taught by my father. Beginning with the penny whistle and violin, I played in our family band, busking on the streets of Bath.

Our travels across the country inspired compositions like "Road to Wareham." Music became my sanctuary, especially after being diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. In college, under mentors such as Dr. Rick Birley, Dr. Richard Hall, and Dr. Julie Trevett, I honed my skills in composition, theory, and piano, transitioning to formal music notation using Sibelius.

Today, I compose for film, video games, and theatre. My music, influenced by my diverse experiences, aims to evoke emotion and tell stories.
