Ukrainian duo Woo York debut on Soma with the first in a two part series entitled Ancient Light. Denis & Andrew have been regulars on the underground scene in Kiev for many years now and with a live act armed with drum machine, samplers & groove boxes they bring their experience direct to the dance floor. This EP explores the deeper side of hypnotic techno. 

Ancient Light opens the EP with deep and powerful rhythms. Haunting synths float atop a bed of rolling analogue sub bass and a driving kick drum. Woo York create a perfect DJ tool with this as the track seamlessly flows powered by a real analogue sound.

Solar Diet ties in perfectly as yet more dystopian rhythms seep out the track. Crisp and snappy percussion back a dark and pulsing low end while a trippy synth hook flickers in and out keeping the one of this track firmly in the deep end. 

Woo York have crafted two fine techno tools doused with their signature deep and hypnotic sound, perfect for any DJ set.

Poker Flat Recordings welcomes back the ever-prolific Alex Niggemann for another speaker-troubling dispatch. This time out, the Aoen and Soulfooled boss drops a hea- vy–duty release that more than lives up to his usual high standards.

'Primary' is no less dramatic, but opts for a dubbier vibe as it builds and releases the ever-present tension. It’s hard, moody, elec- tronic funk for after-hours basements and warehouses.

Runemark Records proudly delivers a beautiful comeback of Teologen with already the 17th release in the label catalog. This time Teologen presents two solo compositions as well as two more created and recorded together with SHMN. A four track EP pack includes brilliant dance floor anthems where each and everyone has got its own atmosphere and feelings, feels like all of them are living on their own. The opening 'Shadow Work' is pulsating, energetic Techno with dreamy vocals that brings tasty subtlety to the whole track. A perfect intro to the rest of the EP. The second collaboration between Teologen and SHMN 'Sola Gratia Sola Techno' delivers housier beats and deeper sounds with an uplifting flow. The amazing vocals fulfill the composition by adding some dramatic delicacy. Third track in the pack 'Into Recourse' is a solo composition by Teologen. A bright and light mood created by atmospheric pads, noisy cuts and artist's vocals. The last but not least 'Standing Here I Bleed' delivers mystery from the first chords. Trippy vocals together with tribal and minimal beats creates dark and atmospheric sense. 'Archetypal Recource' EP is available only in digital format in all digital music stores.

Belgian-born David Garcet DJ is an eclectic electronic music artist who stands out from the crowd through the sheer originality of his creations. An ambitious and determined originator, his skill and artistic direction has recently been channelled into the formation of a music agency and label based in Bangkok, Jane Music.
Successfully blending the melodious and the decadent, every one of David Garcet tracks plunges its listeners in his very personal and emotionally charged universe, including latest deep, progressive house cut Another Line. David Garcet and Marie Lenoir last collaborated on 2012’s celebrated MAO, so we’re incredibly pleased to
finally be able to present the long-overdue return of this electrifying pairing. The duo’s undeniable chemistry really shines through on Another Line, with heavy, resonate basslines and dark melodies juxtaposed with the subtle singing style of Marie Lenoir : unique layers that are seamlessly blended for a powerful electronic

The original is backed up with a trio of remixes, all of which tread their own unique path. 'Friedrich Raphael preps us for a glistening summer with the release of his second EP on Istanbul based Petra Digital/Vinyl Recordings, entitled 'Koi'. The EP features remixes from Berlin artist, Sense of Sun and Kassell based Herb Rhythm adding an extra flavour to the work of art, whilst keeping to the key theme of warm summer nights we all long for. All arranged in a tight package of digital and vinyl. 
 
Friedrich pays homage to classic deep house with his first track, 'Vitra'. The powerful kick drum drives the energy of this original mix which allows a mellow pad and slapping bass to play off one another, giving us a powerful groove to move our feet to. 'Villa' gives the dancer a harsher taste of Friedrich’s music with the percussive elements becoming more active whilst still maintaining the distinctive vibe. A touch of class from the blossoming talent, with his grip tightly gripped on a bright future. 
 
Sense of Sun takes 'Vitra' and gives it a rework in his own refreshing style. The intended feel of the track is still at the forefront but Sense Of Sun stamps it with a hint of a disco feel, with the constant shuffle of the hi-hat line and funky bass steering the track towards this road of happy feels. Herb Rhythm takes a slightly different route with his remix of 'Villa', motoring towards a garage feel with its disjointed drum arrangement, weaving in and out with its prolific chords, notably suited for one of those dancefloor moments you could not possibly forget.
