"Introspection" - is the title given to a series of mix / video performances that immerses us in a journey in company of tracks, "in the majority", deep, mental, hypnotic, futuristic and groovy techno.
These mixes are enhanced by sci-fi effects as well as vocal samples taken from different thinkers, philosophers, documentaries..., that give, in the grater scheme of things, a definition of introspection (* meditation) and its effect on the human being. Moreover, the mixes are accompanied by atmospheric sounds which, mostly, make reference to worldwide spiritual practices which enable one to reach the said state of modified consciousness.

Seeker of truth
All men pursue the same goal: happiness. But what is it truly?
Every human being broaches this quest on the path of awakening in their own way, with a certain consciousness of this state at some point.
After having lived, in his life (his lives), a multitude of situations as well as the extreme resulting emotions, man feels a deeper need for lucidity and understanding…The seeker of truth appears much clearer.
The need for solitude (in the first time, uncontrollable) will enable him to enter a superior degree of introspection. This will submerse him in an inside journey to the depth of himself, where the fright of the unknown will, at the start, be predominant.
This journey will allow him, through much discipline, to clarify at the highest point the vision he has of himself and of the universe that surrounds him.

"Introspection" (Seeker of truth) is the name given to a series of videos/mixes "mainly" composed of deep, mental, hypnotic, futuristic and groovy techno.
These mixes are enhanced by sci-fi effects as well as vocal samples taken from different thinkers, philosophers, documentaries..., that give, in the grater scheme of things, a definition of introspection (* meditation) and its effect on the human being. Moreover, the mixes are accompanied by atmospheric sounds which, mostly, make reference to worldwide spiritual practices which enable one to reach the said state of modified consciousness.


Seeker of truth
All men pursue the same goal: happiness. But what is it truly?
Every human being broaches this quest on the path of awakening in their own way, with a certain consciousness of this state at some point.
After having lived, in his life (his lives), a multitude of situations as well as the extreme resulting emotions, man feels a deeper need for lucidity and understanding…The seeker of truth appears much clearer.
The need for solitude (in the first time, uncontrollable) will enable him to enter a superior degree of introspection. This will submerse him in an inside journey to the depth of himself, where the fright of the unknown will, at the start, be predominant.
This journey will allow him, through much discipline, to clarify at the highest point the vision he has of himself and of the universe that surrounds him.

Bio:

Medular is a minimal psychedelic glitch project from Mexico City which has emerged from the union of Brun González (a.k.a. Brun Balanced) and Pablo Peniche (a.k.a. Xom Pax).

It drives from experimenting with live synths and hypnotic jam sessions that coalesce into beautifully evolving tracks and elegant acid beats.

This aesthetic comes from trying to bring the psychedelic glitch Spirit into minimal techno in a more free and experimental way that is alive and breaths from the interaction of the digital and analogue entities.

While looking to bring back the analogue modular-esque sound generating sequencer based tunes, Medular makes use of the many ways of sculpting noise and Worshiping the Glitch.

🎵  DJ and composer who took his first steps in 1998. It was through discovering Hardcore sounds, but especially following the shock of his meeting with Jeff Mills that same year, that he naturally embarked on the adventure, developing a "Techno" oriented style.
His incredible technique combined with his high sensitivity, an explosive energy, and a captivating selection, have made his reputation for his prodigious DJ sets on three turntables and percussion/samplers...
These performances are often considered as an invitation to an inner and outer journey, but also to letting go, to a state of trance, propelled by a powerful Techno selection: Hypnotic, Groovy, Sci-fi, Tribal, Raw and melodic !
Alex Nilson has perfectly combined old-school and new-school techno, where magic happens.
He has notably performed at major events alongside Manu le Malin, Jack de Marseille, Marco Bailey, Robert Hood, The Advent, Jeff Mills, Mezerg, and more, and has won numerous competitions.
A multifaceted artist, he is also known for his DJ sets/projects in Drum & Bass, World Electro, and Ambient-IDM-Electronica-Electro Shamanic...
Passionate and inspired by inner knowledge and awakening, he draws on his life experiences and moments of meditation and introspection as a source of inspiration to incorporate his visions into his art.
