here is the 1,5 Hour Dj set which I played right after the D-Nox & Beckers live act at the legendary Tribal Tech festival in Curitiba Brasil. The organizers have understood have to create a new kind of festival. Full of surprises, amazing deco, lights, stages and soooo many people and great music. I am very happy that I was part of this massive event. Thank you!

Melbourne has never shied away from producing progressive artists who explore the darker side of sound, and Mike Rish is the latest in a long line of esteemed talent to emerge from the city. Yet, he’s slowly carving out a unique niche—an unmistakable rogue-ish frequency that’s both chugging and energetic, playful yet serious. In fact, it’s a whirlwind of emotions at any given moment, but it's always there.

However, don't box him in as a merchant of the moody. When he’s not hiding in the shadows, he shimmers like glitter. Check out his latest on Anjunadeep Explorations, ‘Tú Attair’, and his remix of fellow Melburnian Jamie Stevens’ ‘Rivers’—both delectable slices of euphoric prog that will send the blood rushing to your head. Yes, he has game, and it's no stretch to say that Mike Rish is currently one of the globe’s most searing rising talents.

On this two-hour mix, the Australian delivers a set for the purists—starting with a slow, inviting build that eventually pulls you in like a vortex. June 2024 marked my first all-night-long set of the year at Stereo, and what an unforgettable journey it was. For some reason, I decided to hit record that night….something I rarely do and it turned out to be the perfect capture of everything an all-night-long set should embody. Playing for a full 10 hours in a packed room was nothing short of magical.  I began the night with delicate ambient sounds, slowly building layer by layer. As the hours passed, the music evolved from soothing atmospheres to hypnotic grooves and high-energy peaks. The progressive flow carried us all the way to the final track, a culmination of hours of shared intensity and joy. Theres something incredibly special about creating a set from start to finish, telling a story that captures every emotion along the way.  Stereo is more than just a venue it’s my sanctuary of sound, a place where magic happens and where we all become one. The energy, love, and connection on the dancefloor were palpable, turning the night into an unforgettable experience. And recording the set was a stroke of luck as it captured not only the music but the crowd’s incredible reactions: the chants, the screams, the claps, the raw energy of the Stereoheads.  I feel so lucky to have this long-standing residency and to receive so much love from the Stereo family. Nights like this remind me why I fell in love with this craft. To everyone who shared the dancefloor with me that night, thank you for making it so special. And to those listening to the recording, I hope it takes you back to that magic 10 hours. One journey. Nick Warren’s place in the dance music hall of fame is well established. By also continually releasing acclaimed albums, singles, and remixes with his Way Out West partner, Jody Wisternoff, Nick Warren has firmly established himself as a truly multi-faceted producer of top-quality dance music.

Having graced the decks at every self-respecting club on the planet and made his name as a superstar DJ, Nick has also turned his hand to the business side of the music industry. As the A&R of Bristol-based Hope Recordings, he spends time seeking to hone and promote the next generation of talent. For Nicolas Rada, the journey is still just unfolding. His love of UK indie rock band Radiohead opened him up to dance music, and over the last 10 years he has quietly built a head of steam through his productions (and been able to count his heroes, such as Danny Howells, John Digweed and Nick Warren himself, among an ever-growing army of admirers). 

Born in April 1986, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Nicolas has loved percussion and has also studied piano, since childhood. He has developed his own unique style, incorporating the dark sounds of Progressive House, Tech House, Techno and Deep House. His productions can be found on well-known labels, such as: The Soundgarden, Proton, DAYS Like NIGHTS, Particles, Balkan Connection, Balkan Connection SA, Soundteller, Sound Avenue, 3rd Avenue, amongst others. He also presents his monthly 'Oblivion' online radio show, every 4th Thursday of the month, at 1PM EST on FRISKY Radio.
